You could of picked a better thread to troll with.  I am seeing several comments about people who are staying long term or they are definately staying until some other mmorpgs come out that they  and not too many replies that are all that negative. 

I wish Valve luck but they are going to lose. They should be calling this game something different.    Dota is a name of a mod for a game they own and the mod was created with textures and such from said game.    Blizzard owns the rights to any mod created for their game.   Blizzard also now owns  DotA-Allstars, LLC.  This guarantees they will win.

You people can spacebar your way through the game but I am playing this game for what it is, its a story line driven mmorpg. 

your clearly a WoW fanboy clinging onto an 7 year old game with aging graphics who is trying to nitpick at things scared of the fact that Old Republic is about to unseat WoW as the king of mmorpgs.  The list of items your mentioned are petty and will all be enhanced as the game develops.

It says in the article that players were limited to 10 minute play sessions, how can you evaluate a game in that time? This article is moot to me and another childish biased article on the massivley  website.  There is a reason I don't go to that website as its trash.

Eset Nod32 is the best premium antivirus there is.  If you want to go free,  Microsoft Security Essentials is the best option..don't go AVG anymore as they are now bloatware and won't run with combofix.

I haven't played since they nerfed Bounty Hunter big time.  Its a good decision they made as Old Republic is not only going to take all the subcribers this game had but many of World Of Warcrafts.  Every single person I know that plays WoW is switching to this and is preordered.    SOE is making a good business decision to get our when they can atleast break even on this game before overhead costs more than revenue.

thank god this pos is getting taking back down. I have atleast sampled almost every mmorpg listed on this site and this one was a pile. I knew within 10 minutes of logging in that this game was complete shit.  The homerum for me was seeing my gadges and noticing that it was cpu based.

I am glad they are not going to not have same sex relationships in this game. Can you image two male bounty hunters holding hands?  wtf...ok, this is star wars and not real life people....homesexuality is not in star wars lore last I checked.  They should just take relationships out of the game in the first place.  This kind of crap encourages people to not develop relationships in real life and makes  no sense to me anyways why this has to be in a video game. 

um...consoles ARE computers nowadays..conles have the same parts and their own custom OS making it a pc to me.

lol...you are funny.   $20 a month is not super cheap for an mmorpg subscription.  If they even attempted that amount, they would be screwing themselves and I am pretty confident there is not a single game on the market charging that much.   It will probably be $14.99 a month like all other mmorpgs.

thats cool...tool little too late.   Game has been around for 8 years.  The SOE execs are doing the right thing, they probably brought in experts that projected the amount of subscriptions they are going to lose when The Old Republic comes out and the projections are probably not good.  They are cutting off the game when they still have a profit instead of trying to battle a new mmorpg  with a star wars theme that has  more budget, a better game engine and a superior development team. If they continue to run this game, I guarantee its projected to lose money. Good decision by SOE to close down in December.

First: The game is still not finished and released.

Second : This is the opinion of a single person and thats all.  I don't go by reviews or previews..I try a game for myself if I am interested enough. I would recommend the same to everyone else. 

Third:  Have never even heard of incgamers.com until today....

Last:  No matter how great or bad a game is, there is always people who hate it or love it.  We are all human and are all different. 

Its good that these people are leaving....this weeds out the players who want to hold this game back and prevent development outside of the ship.  Have fun playing Perpetuum, the game blows.

I miss that too...I am all about getting out of my ship but I still want to be able to spin my ship around and look at it in the bay.
