Not belittiling the OP haha. Just saying, I've been in this game for long enough there was something he did to get hacked. We'd know if there was a mass-hacking of accounts because the DFO forums would be swarmed. No one would want to hack DFO because they wouldn't get anything out of it.. They'd be hacking the players they'd sell the accounts to and end up making everyone quit. 

PS: Darkfall is getting a relaunch so why complain about losing your stuff? It probably would have happened eventually anyways :P

I would suggest not returning to the game until we get further information though.

They say it ALL the time that they will NEVER refund in-game items. I've been playing this game since beta, and I've never been hacked. I've even shared my account and not been hacked. It was definately something YOU did and either don't really know yet, or just trying to save-face and won't admit it. GG.

And it's not hard to get money on that game... I got over a Mil in a month... Ooo so hard.

Okay? Who the fuck plays this game for 2 hours a month? I doubt any asian in asia, (who probably farms gold) would want to play this game for 2 hours, they maybe buy 2-4 hours a DAY, or maybe buying 2-4 hours 2-3 times a week.

This appears to be vaporware.  New beta account status has been closed the whole year of 2010.  I've yet to run into anyone that's actually in the beta.  Not to mention the beta boards are dead.  Sorry to resurrect such an old post, didn't think this deserved a whole new one.

I'm in the beta. Not vaporware. Havn't played in a while though, don't know if the servers are still up or not but the game was fully functional and pretty fun. Dev's communicated/played in game with others.

Eh, it's not much of the type of MMO you're thinking of but this pretty decent game "Puzzle Pirates" has quite a few females. Yes, there's the occasional guy with a fetish acting like he's a girl to bring you in, but there are also quite a few legit females.

You technically CAN pvp, but you can't compete. You'll start out with ~200 HP considering the race you chose. The PvP'ers on the server have characters that are roughly 325-400HP already. They also have melee masteries maxed, and the ability to cycle nukes. But, you can sure do some duels with your fellow NEW players to get used to the PvP aspect. 

The game is a lot more Noob friendly now. I started out in beta, and played from launch 'til now. So, I can't 100% give you an accurate amount of time until you'll be PvP ready because the game was different back then.

Yeah, It should be around for longer. As long as the Devs deliver in DF 2010 (new "expansion".

With recent updates, the player base is happy.  This imo, should bring back some more friendly faces. I can suggest this, Join the North American server and join NEW as your first clan. That would be the best you can do.

I was one of those people who shoved out the 60 bucks to buy this game the day it came out.

Me being a gamer who doesn't go out and look for flaws, actually enjoyed this game. It was pretty fun. Then I started noticing the lack of people as i played for a month or so. THAT was the one thing that killed this game completely for me. And I hear it's not changed.. 

IMO, game has potential

Hey, I have been playing MMO's for about 6 years now. My latest was darkfall, But i've quit that due to a few reasons, still love that game and it's my favorite, just can't pay to play anymore :(

What I'm now looking for is an RPG. Solo player one, is there any free RPG's anyone can suggest?
