Also the feeling of having a 750 hp engine pushing my 60 tons of gray painted steel over the landscape and the occasional hamlets. That is certainly a rather good feeling.

Do you also find it estactic that you see your prey repair its blown tracks magically in 20 seconds while under fire?  You did not know they had achieve magic repair status?   Do you find it magically delicious when an enemy tank with magic binoculars and special secret camo cloaking devices spots you beyond your range putting you on a overhead radar map so that artillery units can one shot kill you?  Maybe you love being one shot killed by a tank that you are matched with that is 5 tiers above you in hit point and your weapons can do nothing to even take his track off?  I am sure it is the hit point box style damage model that makes you life so much fun because you can penatrate a tank three or four times but not deliver enough damage points from the random generator and they just heal turn and shoot you back?  There is of course the fact that you have a target in clear view and he stops and suddenly they dissappear from view...

what is up with that ?you say.  Yet he moves and suddenly you can see him again.

Angriff you realy have some beef with this game hu?

This is no tank simulator and if you know the little funny videos they have brought out you would know they aim for arcade like FUN tank battles. And thats it!

So why youre on such a silly crusade against this realy entertaining game? They stole your cookie?

The game is fun, it runs smooth most of the time, the tank classes and tiers play  very different, there is something like a rock, paper scissor system and with a little more tweaking the balance should also be fine.

Matchmaking has improved so you dont face tier 9 tanks when you are in a tier 3 so offen anymore.

All in all a neat little free game for quick fun.

We got it you dont like it, why dont you step away from the desktop get some fresh air and stop flaming this game

for things it aint want to be in the first place? merci & malzeit

On the very Top of my *next to playcheck* list

Mentoring ? realy nice idea.

And if speiber aproves you should too ;)

Must have experience imho

For me it was also love hate, impressive but sometimes hard to get  from a to b,

but now when i think back i had a very good time there.

it´s very eve like got some nice advantages over eve whcih encourages more pvp imho.

But then i already play EVE which is AAA so i cannot realy justify to play perpetuum, though is support thier endevor

and wish em all best.

But i cannot imagin how a 10 man indi studio can work fast enougth to keep the people entertained for long enough

when theyre competing with a game like EVE.

Just remember that you can trust most of the people in this game. Usually when a corp asks you to go out into 0.0 space, they are trying to get you there so they can recruit you. You have to jump into the game sometime and doing it as early as possible will usually give you the best experience. So get out there and trust the people you meet in game. The more people you trust, the more fun this game is.

Ding ding ding the irony

Don´t lsiten to this advice ;)

In Eve scams and  tricks scratching  the exploit border are considered good sport.

Though tricking newbs is somehow throwned upon you best do think twice before you give any isk or assets away.

Dont fly what you cant afford to loose and if a deal sounds to good to be true it is a scam.

Now for corporations...

Eve uni is a very good start, if you want to pvp from day one go Red vs Blue.

Dont join a newb corp as they most likely will be locked down by some asshead by a wardec.

Now that might sound like Eve has a comunity made out of douche bags that is not true either some very friendly and

intelegent peeps play this game but remeber tricking the opponent out of his isk backstabbing and corp theft, social engeneering all those are considered fair play. It´s a bit like poker..the guys are all nice and maybe even like ech other but they play the game and won´t hestiate to get your stack if you make  a mistake.

Fly save

keep the typos

Yes i feel the same, i like scenery and the feel.

But to many mats cluttering your vault + ofcourse this

"The AP quest grind. This is the biggest irk of the entire game for me. For a game that was advertised as a sandbox game, we get an advancement system that pretty much locks you into jumping through hoops down a list of quests and quest chains. If you don't, your character is "gimped". If you do, you have to go to ridiculous feats. Now, I know you don't "have" to collect all the AP, but I'm an achiever. I like to feel that my character is "complete"  and not handicapped in some way. As such I felt compelled to chase down the extra AP, which became a terribly tedious, frustrating, and outright monotonous endevor -- and I didn't even do the wheel grind. I felt like I was being punished for not being able to play the game my way, and just explore and scavenge. This was exacerbated when I did try to roll alts, because I felt compelled to go through the exact same nonsense over again... which is the straw that broke the camel's back for me."

Bad choice imho, i didnt even make it through all the starter towns when i burned out on bonus AP quests..

But you always had in mind..*hey why do this quest when i should rather leave and head on to the next bonus ap quest*

And if you have done all , you can only max your char by *spinning the wheel*

another bad decision in my eyes.

Oh well..It wasent realy sandbox in the first place

OH! and big spoiler for me..no global chat.. made it feel very very empty if you didnt join the help channel but that wasent open for chatter.

i think it has to fly to catch as many fish in this sea of mmorpg.com

Lots of great quests in the game. Perhaps the best crafting of any MMO. I kinda got bored after level 50 though. You kind of need a lot of hand holding to do anything decent after that. Expect to group for mostly everything worth while.

Yes there lots of good quests.

Craftin is average, not best no offence, but turbine tries to make it worthwhile.

Nowadys you can solo much, also lot of small group content to do, still dungeons with 6 man are encouraged and lots of fun, and the epic book quests are very enjoyable.

Soon with the ftp switch you can also play the old dungeons skaled up to your lvl.

Rp is alive and kicking.

Only gripe for me is the bad character animations ..stabbing with a mace?..and alike.

Its for free now in NA and europe and  for sure worth a try, as it is a fleshed out quality product that can/will keep you entertained for a long time.

(( LI system stinks imho ; )  ))

It´s a good game and should stay on the list here as long as GA stays.

period.

left nut.. to much effort for bits and bites thats not yours,. ;)

i see it that way, i get tokens for playing the game.

Afaik they ll have another look at the diffi and i like how they implement the cash shop..itll speeden up your

xp and token gain but only to the daily limit..so if you want to make your own hell and grnnd yoursellf

you can do that in any  game from lotro (one of the more rp heavy games) to any  full f2p.

GA is free now after the purchase so if you feel a burnout coma back later just enjoy the gameplay

as pvp shooter , coop shooter or rpg shooter like borderlands you can find quick action for an hour a day

easily and your char will appreciate it ^^

As an oldtimer for mmorpgs that plays shooters now and then i deicded to give it a try,

and it has catched me pretty good.

It has many of the things a mmorpg player looks for, like char customisation,

a little gear grind and upgrading , smiple crafting and ofcourse a good chunk of group interaction...which means

that a less geared group working together well will outperform a better equiped random team.

It has no subscription and is actually FUN thats what im looking for n my older days.. less grind more fun.

You can imagine dungeon runs but faster with mini bosses in between and a hefty boss at the end that can be taken down

only with the right tactics, also dieing less is rewarded.

Its not the best but fpr instant fun and for no monthly fee it is ofcourse one of the better games on this side.

Regards

Speiber

This game is fun .. yes realy .. the gameplay is actualy fun :)

Most important fact for me

i heard pacman is also training for a comeback,

sorry ..do you realy think this can come up on top ?

i would hope so but .. no

this game is great! i just cant afford PTP right now so i had to cancel my Sub, been playing EvE since the start, it's grown so much and gotten so much better!

If you put some effort into it ya can pay by playing, plex costs about 360 mil, good*players can pull 100 mill in 3 hours grinding

better players more, the real cracks just laugh ;)

PS* needs a char about 6 months old

"plex is like a gametime card you can buy from other players for ingamemoney"
