Okay, I just about did not reply to this post do to poster being less than open minded and mature and some in the community being just as bad. For those who wish to know there are 2 very different styles of play to these games... very very different.

First Eve, It is a game based more on strategy, brains, planning and engaging in pvp in large organized warfar across a very large galaxy. It requires a large commitment to the game and to your mates who need you to be ready at a moments notice to help out. The learning curve is intense and the game play gets more intense in pvp and setup. There is politics, it has a player run market and a seamless character evolution chart. Not a game for kids or for people with A.D.D ,It is a mature game only.

WOW is a game you do not get lost in, It is directed at all age groups and in doing so  making it  for a less engrossing enviroment. Yes it is fun for some, It requires you are only looking to point and click and that you do not need to really plan to much. This is a game that allows you to log in for small amounts of time and not miss anything. You can log in hack, slash and maim without a worry in the world.

My prefrence ? As a adult I enjoy the WOW style of play form time to time but find the community lacking in the mature department do to the fact that more kids play than 20 + people. I also find that the game is to simple with to many limits on character and enviroment. For instance I left WOW and EVE  for 1 month while away on work. I logged back into WOW and guess what nothing changed still the same kid like figure looking back at me and the entire WOW world was the same. What to point at and kill with the same sword everyone else had???boring??. I logged back into eve and found that not only had my alliance lost a entire cluster of stars (HOME) but we moved to a space and enviroment I had not seen in 2 years of play. Not only that I also found that my ship setup no longer could hold out in pvp or be as usefull as it was. Why? because the eve player world evolved into a new style of fighting each other over turf. I also got a calm easy going enviroment in EVE on arrival. NOT  "man you  suck noob, go back to town and hide you loser before you get OMFGBBQ'd". I personally am glad that stupid people struggle to understand EVE, It makes us smart people enjoy are free time more. Thanks for not understanding I and the rest of EVE enjoy your lack of presence in EVE.
