I completely agree with Lobo.

AoC, despite promises from FC, has never been a PvP game. Never. Honestly if it was, we would not be hearing about half of the issues people are having today. If the game was based around PvP, the Borderlands would be implemented; the ruleset would've been at least half-decent instead of something thrown together two weeks before launch and half-assed since; Siege's wouldn't be 48v48.

PvP would have had meaning if AoC was a PvP game. But it doesn't. But this begs a question; if AoC is not a PvP game, then is must be a PvE game. Then why is all of the high-level/endgame PvE content broken or missing?

This infuriates me.

How the HELL can people fully review a game 2-3 weeks after it's been launched? Especially a MMO. Most of the player base still isn't near the level cap. I know that two of the Norwegian reviews came out, literally, the -day- after AoC was released.

So, let's see. A review. Based on. Half the content in the game? Or. Open/Closed beta and EA? I'm rather confused.

Depends on what you like.

Normally, I'd just point people in the direction of EvE, but as you're already playing it. . . Are you a PvP'r, a PvE'r? Casual, hardcore? Do you like to RP?

I vary a ton, but I know at this time in my life, I'm a casual RP-PvE'r - I'm playing LotR:O on Landroval, and really enjoying myself. But again, it's all really depends on what you like...

Harassing and saying a word is 2 different things. Please look up the word harrassment, and being rude... They mean to different things. BTW lookup the word N****r it technically doesnt degrade one race and is ment for ANY race. its just it was used torwards one more then the other. and im pretty sure if he shouted Whose a cracker here not 1 person would have a problem with it.

Um, it was derived from the word Negro, which is what, spanish/latin for Black? And was used to degrade that race for over 200 years.

But TrueWarrior is right about shouting "Whose a cracker" and no one having a problem with it. Harass: To irritate or torment persistently; To wear out, exhaust; To exhaust an enemy by repeated attacks.

That's because Cracker hasn't been used to degrade a segment of the population for over 2 centuries. Don't ever try to compare the impact that that word has had.

But back on topic, I agree with a few of the previous posters. I want them both to do well, and both attract a solid base.

BUT.

Even in beta now, WAR is more polished than AoC was in beta 4-5 months ago. WAR, at this time, is really just polishing, whereas AoC was still solidifying/removing content 4-5 months ago.

I think that the wealth of broken promises to the community, and lack of end-game content will cripple AoC. Most people are rapidly become disillusioned with the game, which (honestly) is a shame; because it is  - or could be - a good game.

In the long run WAR, IMHO, will prove to be the more successful and enjoyable game.
