Yeah this game i followed for the longest time...and didn't buy it due to no money(lol) It looks awesome and the online ideas are so tight.

But why did you post it on MMORPG.com? The only aspect tha tis "MMOess" is the monthly fee you can pay for the awesome online tools.

Most to all screen shots that have been released are old beta/alpha screenies that have no rendering lighting or shadowing, the gfxs are like a DAoC(same engine) but are more to Gamesworkshops liking.

I would not try to ask to many questions an get to many answers from forums like this one, So if you get an answer don't let it be your final answer alright?

I think it gonna su** a bit if they wont have anything super dangueros, but im sure war already have that type of spells, Like spells in blackmagic and probably all high lvl classes with damage spec. Hope its not a failure...

Another thing is, how about the steering your character?
It gotta be like wow or i dont think it will be a succes, daoc have quite good. but it gotta be better for this type of huge new 2008 game.

Well i think you know that WAR is a RvR game with huge battles between two Factions, so 1 vs 1 doesn't make sense. And even if they had 1 vs 1 it will suck, because they have a rock-paper-scissors system.

 

WAR has really good skills, but these are morale abilities. When you are in combat you build up your Morale. You can have 4 morale abilities at a time. one ability cost you 25% morale, other 50%, 75% and the last 100%. The one that cost you 100% morale is the most powerfull, but before you can use it you need to be in combat for a while.

Well I don't really know what you mean with steering, but I think it is how the characters plays? I have no idea how the character plays, however I just found out that a character can't attack while he is the air, so no jumping around and hitting people! <3

I miss DaoC :(

Just think of this game like DAoC but with dif lore story and newer.

And how does this f2p no level cap blah blah work out? If i can download the client free why can i pay 19.99 for the client?

 I am just confused i played this in beta and was pretty sweet but i have not played since the last day of the beta.

If you look at anything in broad enough strokes, of course it will look the same. Every MMORPG is going to have common elements - that is what defines a genre.
