Sounds like right now all characters work in unison to defeat those from the other dimension. I can completely see Rift having that other side of the game where players become part of the netherworld and thus really bringing a PvP game where one faction will teleport through rifts and lay siege on the opposing forces. Because all I see right now from the game is a whole of of PvE action.

Who knew 2.2 million dollars could be made from virtual pets....

That barbarian class in the trailer was freakin sweet how he just hurled that lil gunner dude across the map mmmmmmmm can't freakin wait.

I agree with this big time. That's exactly what I do.

I've read people talk about a game that would be revolutionizing the way we play games needs funds... well why couldn't Blizzard see that people are and have been wanting a game to topple WoW and just revolutionize its own game? Blizzard is a company that can take these risks and if no one likes the new mmo they fall back to WoW, but if they do like, then it's game over for all other companies basically. So it is race. I am just waiting to see who makes the first move and capitolizes on it.

This is exactly how I feel. Yes their are fees to get more armor or weapons or mounts or whatever. BUT is it that big of a deal to pay for it in small fees while letting casual players play for free compared to just forcing everyone to pay for your game? That's why I just play trials of P2P games because that's as close to them as I'm ever going to get to them. While F2P I can leave whenever I want join whenever I want do whatever I want and not pay a dime if I don't want to.

guild wars does have better Role playing BUT it is basically a single player game. If you can play by yourself OR are really good at makin friends guild wars is your game if you already are starting to like it :)

SO WOW. I tried this game a couple months ago and freakin hated it. and quit. The thing that made me quit was that it didn't feel like any other mmo. And different means bad! Or does it? In Atlantica's case it doesn't, the addicting micro-managing battlefields, multi character control, huge battles with your friends make this game not surprising that it is top.

The Producers definitely hit on the little things, such as teleportation, mounts, huge map. Quests are easy for the directionally challenged with their (optional) quest markers. It's just so cool that it is F2P.

The only draw back I have is character customization. Gosh if they had picked it up a lil more on that side it'd be near perfect. I regret quitting and not giving this game a chance, I am now totally addicted. :) 

I got nothing from this. Just like you got nothing, by putting in all that time into this game. You aren't the only one for sure. I'll say that.

Honestly even if you haven't tried the game and think you'll find fun through the free trial... you are wrong. man you are stuck on a space station not even connected to the real world. I hated that fact! For what little there is left in SWG let the free trial users at least taste the instant gratification the producers were hoping for... or are they scared that maybe people will get all they will need from the instant fun they get from jumping right into the game.... man... such a sweet game.

Our hope now rests in the hands of Bioware. May SWG be used always as the kid star wars and the real men and women live under the true, complex, and amazing world of Star Wars.

Needless to say I believe this game should go F2P soon. OR at least lower the 12.99 monthly payment that's just a crazy. Yes the game is good but there's gotta be an end to the money.

Honestly Star wars galaxies is the only game where this kind of kindness is found from other gamers. All the characters I have made in SWG at one point or another at a low level I had other gamers come up and totally give me items and credits for free. I LOVE IT WHEN GAMERS DO THAT!

why do they even have your rank fall? it seems pointless for those who come on once in a while but can't do anything because their rank is low.

honestly if cabal didn't have the feature where you can put your own music in the juke box I don't know if I'd be still playing. BUT since I can listen to my sweet tunes the grinding is almost fun! lol get some mortal kombat pumpin in the back ground then not use the combo system cuz the game lags a lil too much for timing to really work so I just stock up on MP and boom watch out baddies!

I agree with the once a gamer always a gamer quote! because Gaming is just another source of fun that applies only to some people, much the same as football can be fun for jocks and smoking can be fun for stoners. I myself am totally addicted to gaming no matter what it is but I am also addicted to sports. I go from soccer to gaming to school to soccer to gaming it's an awesome routine and it keeps me active and keeps everything in moderation. Because anything ANYTHING that you do without moderation is bad for you (too much water kills, too much driving costs a lot, too much sports will get you injured)

Online games should be pointed towards teen and above. Children I think shouldn't have much part in mmo's because as said in other replies children really shouldn't be sitting inside doing nothing. EVEN if they want to become a professional gamer at age 7, kids should get out see the world and once they see everything and try lots of stuff then they can make their own decision what they do.

I really do like Rohan especially the customization! almost everyone looks different in the game which is a major plus for me! I really hate games that have same armor all around and no one looks different! hopefully this game really breaks through and becomes a game that will start people on the F2P games and get rid of those filthy P2P corporations who swim in your money!
