Also I'd say use a better CMS tbh, the fact that they missed the granular UAC last time.... sigh..

Art should be an expression in aestethicly pleasing ways to convey a message that cannot be truly understood in any other medium.

"I want money" isn't art.

So all there's left to do for those of us who still give a rats hump about the pleasures of consuming art for the sake of the message, it's all about wading through alot of brown to find the shiny gold.

To be honest with you I'd say that the amount of punishment induced and the ability to have to stand for your words is equal to the level of maturity in most cases..

WoW - You can always get away, make an alt, move server and you'll never Ever lose gold, items or anything in any way.

EvE - Management by fear.
If you stick to the 0.0 systems you usually meet people who are really Really nice, assuming they're on the end of the cannon.
I like EvE, people aren't very annoying if you're in the right areas, areas where you risk losing what you got.

This applies to most games,
obviously the size of the community will directly impact anonymity too,
take for example Neocron, an old MMOFPS that's been around since forever,
it never had a big community and those in there knew eachother, so did I, heck people still remember me and alot of old timers on their forums.
Attitude was great there, small fights occured but noone acted up in major ways, why? Because everyone knew everyone (Also you'd get your head blown off as soon as you left the city) and there just wasn't any room for Asshats.

So as it stands now the Mature Gamers are most likely playing most game and suffering.
Myself I'm not playing anything now for that reason.
I'm hoping for Darkfall to be fairly *meh* so I can move in there...
Full loot, all time PvP and a small community....
It couldn't suit a mature mentality better.

So here's to hoping that you trolls manage to bash that game into the ground! :D

Neocron is one of the best MMOs to date in my personal view and in between mutant hunting and large scale PvP there was one on one fights going on in backalleys in the red light district (Pepper Park) which was nothing short of a good night in amsterdam, people shooting up in the corner, strippers grinding poles, dirty suggestions for money and so forth.

Anyone caught using WoW/MMO Glider had their account permanently banned. What gives Blizzard the right to use the courts to force a mod maker to stop? A mod that was created and worked like any other mod.
 
From a different point of view mods like Omen, DoTimer, Grid etc are cheating too. They making something easier and give an advantage to players using them over players who don't. I couldnt imagine playing my warlock without a dot timer. It would be mean a massive DPS nerf. Back in early 2008 when I was healing on my paladin I couldnt imagine playing without Grid and a click to cast mod.
So what is and isn't cheating is arbitrarily defined by Blizzard. Which is fine. Blizzard makes a list of what is and isn't cheating and then enforces it. But that gets back to my original point. Why should Blizzard use the courts to enforce something they should be doing themselves?
I suggest you people go and read what this ruling was about and what it means since most of you have no idea.
