The only thing I could do which would make it extremely more accuate is to run the same poll everyday. The problem with that is...its not really my place to muck up the forums with the same question every day.
Now if MMORPG.com had a rolling poll average on your AoC subscription, I'd be able to isolate outliers, find a standard deviation, and otherwise get a real graph about AoC's trend.
I would love to see a line chart of subscribers to AoC. That would be the ultimate. If any of you have that information, please provide a link. (I figured AoC would never release that info).

HA its funny how people come in here to diss AoC. I see the problem with AoC and its a problem that will be fixed. Not much to do when you get to level 47ish and you have to grind. Which unfortunetly not many people like to do witht he combat system of AoC. Think what you want, or better mail SOE and ask. I still think that AoC is better (just duller) game then Vanguard. And yes Vanguard was bloody unstable (which is totally opposite of AoC which run flawlessly for me (no sarcasm here, I really mean it)). You may have a tiny point though, I may have played AoC for more hours total in the 3 weeks I was playing it then I did Vanguard in 1 month.

PS. Please chill and do not take it personally - we are discussing a video game here, I have merely voiced my opinion (which I swear is true), I did not run over your cat in my steam roller yelling vulgarisms about your mother.

I just don't get it, they all this time (and money) to deliver the game, and it still shipped without dx10, sieges, broken stats, severely lacking itemization and crafting (I only mentioning broken system, not bugs). And now out of the blue Funcom comes out with a long list of new features to be added 'soon'. How can that not strike you as odd (to say the least)?

There is nothing wrong with Age of Conan! We have lots of big features planned!

Wow, this should have been posted on April's Fools, it is just too rich! =D First they did not deliver on the features promised on the bloody box and now they promise some new mystical features to be added? Especially in the state the game is in at the moment? I am not falling for that, no sir. As said above this just a (desperate) carrot for dangling in front of the part of the AoC population that has not canceled their subscriptions yet.

Oh btw, I have this cheese mine on the moon you may be interested in buying...

My very first retail character at the end of the single player tutorial

I have submitted a ticket on the day of official launch, got a standardized answer about a week later, which wasn't helpful in the slightest since it had nothing to do with the issue in question.

The dx10 toggle has been in the client and simpleconfig.exe since open beta if not earlier. It just never did anything. :(

For some strange reason I too got 2 cape codes (plus one cape from my CE), I gave those away before I stopped playing, couldn't see the point of keeping them. :)

From someone that has been to 74 before quitting let me tell you, most of the stats do nothing, besides quest rewards are enough to get to you to top level. Also expect your character to look nearly the same 1-80 (exception being dungeon gear). Npcs seem to be wearing awesome looking gear, they just don't drop it (well perhaps picts do, but that's what 5-10 items tops, and 1 of them out of Tortage?) If you enjoy gearing up your character AoC (as it is right now) is not for you.

You should have voted awesome then. What I was looking for is not whether you liked it or not, but what you thought the momentum of the game would ultimately be. Perhaps, "Awesome" and "Fail" were too strong of terms...
If having a dedicated and reliable player base that keeps the game running for 3+ years is how you define an "Awesome" successful game, then you should vote "Awesome". Even if you don't like it....

And AoE's don't hit group members or guild members, so they do only hit foes. It may be different on PvP servers, but on PvE this is how it works. I also know that on PvP group members do not take damage.
