Japanese claims that robots will conquer the world in the future.

I really enjoyed playing Dragon Age: Origin but after some of my friends told me about the awfull mess about Dragon Age 2 I decide to skip it.

The first Assassins Creed was great but the was a huge cliff hanger in the game, so I did want to play the rest of the games. A shame really.

Call of duty modern warfare (The first one) was great and had a good story and cool multiplayer. I got also Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but I did not enjoy the singleplayer and the multiplayer as much as the first one. So I stopped there. Now I play Battlefield 3.

A shame really.

I have been looking on buying a new RPG and was about to buy the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. But I better skip it now. Guess it didnt sell as good as the company wish it did.

Oh well at least The Witcher Enchanted version is out now.

meh

Its should be a good thrill back to days of the Eye of the Beholder. I have two friends there have brought the game on Steam and they have only said positive things about it yet. So I plan to buy it too very soon.

This thread make me sick

First of all. Bioware founder choose to sell themself on the stockmarket  and EA was the buyer. So when everyhing is coming down, then its Bioware itself and its founder there wanted the solution.

Second: There is nothing wrong that the founders want to sell there company they buildt themself  for $860 million dollars. EA probably made a neat deal. They have now access to there personal staff, there license and one less competitor to worried about.

Third: If you dislike Bioware quality games, then dont buy them. Nobody is forcing you to buy there games.

employees, actually around 10% of all,  have to go since this high amount of profit is not enough, take it as interesting infos. i cant write much atm with a sprained hand.

how much profit is "enough"?

That really depends on the shareholder or the investors.

HSBC had some of the highest costs of any world banks. The salaries was too high and maybe this could actully lead to 30.000 new jobs in India where the salaries is lower.

I would say Tyrion to, he tries to help people on occasion and he has compassion, being a dwarf probably made him more sensitive to the suffering of others and the effects of discrimination and persecution. He has an honest streak to, even though he might scheme and plot he always keeps his word, if he says something or makes a deal he does it.

Garkan nailed it. Tyrion Lannister is no doubt the best.

Amazing facts.

Wake up USA and pay your debt!. There are a number of European countries who paid their WWII debts in full. Our WWII debts have been fully paid off at this point as well. Right now the European Union have also paid for the Greece debt crisis. Now its time for USA to pay there debt.

Right now!.

Let me see, it's gonna come out in 2012, be as unpolished and rushed as DA2 but have the same publicity onslaught as DA2 did so it will sell well and get much better review than it deserve.

Me and my Father have always enjoyed this theme song

Another one bites the dust

It depends on what you define "win" as.

Did US remove Saddam and the Baath party? Yes.
Did US help create a new government? Yes.
Is that government self sustaining? Probably. Time will tell.
Is Iraq more secure now? No. But it could be in the future.
Was it worth it? Right now, no. But, in 20 years, possibly. Time will tell.

The only thing that can be said for certain, is that the US military is one mighty Juggernaut - they beat the snot out of one of the biggest armies in the world and made them surrender in record time.

It was supposed to be a ‘WoW killer’. (I must admit.. ive played AoC too, so i know what I am talking about). But yet a another hyped MMO is broken against them. Age of Conan was probably the most hyped MMO in the last few years up to its release and while the hype helped Age of Conan to break sales records, it only lasted for a month.

Secondly Age of Conan did lose almost 9/10 of their potential subscribers. It’s not a rumor. They said as much in their reports  to investors which has been talked about in many messageboards and other news sources.

So what now. The only way Funcom can save Age of Conan is to switch to Free 2 Play and have a cash item shop. But F2P are for failed MMO´s. I am pretty sure that soon we will see in game advertising like we seen in Anarchy Online where you must read something like a Toyota adv. in order to complete a quest.

Oil prices will be what Saudi Arabia wants them to be. And that will hold true for next 4 years may be 5 years.

If the leadership of the USA, Obama and Congress do not like paying for foreign oil then put the US vehicle fleet on natural gas. The cost is about $0.40 / gallon.

Beside the USA has more natural gas that any other two nations, unfortunately Obama doesn’t get it or does not want understand and congress is too stupid.

On the other hand maybe Obama and Congress have their hands stuck in large oil companies back pockets. Cheers.

As the PlayStation Network outage inches closer to the one-month mark, the extended downtime is testing more than just the patience of some players.

It's testing their loyalty.

Some retailers in the U.K. report that they have seen a substantial increase in trade-ins of PlayStation 3 consoles, with gamers either pocketing the cash or using it to buy an Xbox 360, reports Edge.

Here in the U.S., things are a little murkier. GameStop is slated to release its quarterly earnings next week, putting it in an SEC "quiet period" where it does not comment on activities that can affect its financial numbers -- including trade-in trends. The company could address the matter during a conference call with analysts next Thursday.

While the U.S. effects may be unclear, Edge reports some U.K. stores are seeing an increase of over 200 percent in PS3 console trades, mostly from core fans of online shooters like Call of Duty.

Sales of that title and soccer game FIFA 11, which also has a heavy online focus, have skewed towards the Xbox 360 overseas since the breach was announced. Edge also reports that many consumers are canceling PS3 pre-orders of upcoming games and switching to the Xbox 360 version, though the publication's story is based on a relatively small sample of all U.K. retailers.

Completely walking away from a platform because of a few weeks of downtime is certainly reactionary -- and not something most owners are likely to do -- but the frustrations are obviously mounting.

"Xbox is starting to look better and better," said one commenter on the official Sony PlayStation blog after the latest announcement that the company was still unsure when the system would go back online.

Analysts note that online play is increasingly considered a critical element for players. In fact, they say, it's part of the reason that physical game sales continue to slide throughout the industry.

"We think that the shift of playing time in favor of multiplayer online (for games like Call of Duty, Halo and Battlefield) and co-op (for games like Portal 2) divert gamers' attention and available time away from considering new purchases, and have a deleterious effect on new game sales," says Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities.

I reallly dont trust any of this information you are talking about.

Sony stores throughout most of America and the UK had increase Sony profits since psn outage, the initial sales were up almost 10%.

Beside UK is one of the biggest consumers of the PS3 in the European Union, do you really think they want to trade there PS3 for a crappy Xbox360?
