I have been waiting for one of these... swinging the Wiimote to jab, hack, slash and all around butcher monsters and other players would be a blast, not to mention using it for firing bows and aiming spells at others. Whenever Nintendo actually starts giving other countries Wiis and someone (BIOWARE!!!) gets on the ball and makes a good game for it, it could really own the streets. |

1. Guild Wars, been playing since Beta Weekend. I was late to the MMO scene (CURSE YOU DIALUP!!!) so I never played to old school amazing UO.... And since there are few MMOs out that I really like (though several I want to try...) I won't bother ranking others. But when GW2 and Darkfall come out, we shall see, it will be so hard to choose. |

If you want 17", check out www.cyberpowerpc.com/ It is pretty good on prices, I have been looking at getting one of the AMDs for about 1.5k with 4gb ram and a 512mb video card, so it is pretty good.

General: MMOWTF Award Winners

That is a pretty hilarious article. But I must say I deeply resent the Darkfall comment.... And as for the WoW vote, I agree to some degree, but it is a good to make a game low end machines can play. It is also intellegent to make it a unique style like that so that it wont "go out of style" it doesn't get outdated like realistic graphics, because it isn't meant to be realistic. Also, wasn't the ruining of UO worse than NGE??? |

Guild Wars: Expansion Review - Eye of the North
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 12/26/07 8:10:10 PM
We must all be "hardcore" fans of GW here. Because this review is terrible. KInda like PC Gamer (who is usually on the money), but that review just sounded like a whiney baby who had a bad stretch of luck. GWEN is my favorite, right after Proph. It adds heroes for anyone without NF, and more for those with. Many of these heroes actually participate in the story. I know the story is rather stereotypical, I still enjoyed it. (where are my SlyvaSylvari???) There is TONS of new content, form dungeons to titles. PvE skills are kinda cool, but either way there is a TON of new armor, i think maybe more than any full expansion. It is hard, but I am seriously getting tired of people crying about hard games. Either suck it up and learn to get better or suck it up and admit you suck. that is life, either you adapt(and GW is one of the few MMOs that allow you to that) or you move on to something else. I think the main problem with the GWEN reviews is that most of the reviews are done by people who don't actually know the game that well, or at least don't play it regularly. thats just my opinion. |
