Just to note that battles with 700 are fairly frequent in EvE, and the record is something like 1400.

No auto targeting, realtime and manual aiming : )

But yes, EVE have some massive battlefields as well.

Are you (OP) talking about your first week in beta? Of course things dont work then!

And who forced you to get the game? Did someone twist your arm? I have also followed MO since day one, but i thought "hmm, im gonna wait a couple of months before geting it!" why didnt you?

And how is MO today? Almost no point in telling how it was three months ago.

I will wait until next year before i get MO, if i think it looks ok. I will not take any meaningless whining or anything. I will let the game speak for itself.

But isnt MO still in beta?

I have said it before "this expansion just keep getting better and better everytime you hear more about it" : )

The swimming stamina thing, it is clear to see that AV want us to use boat and ships for sea travel....not swimming. And i think that is a great thing. Of course you CAN still swim!

It is not the dev team that not want to make a trial. Its the community.

EVE, UO and Shadowbane are nothing like DF is.

I want there to be a trial. But i would like to have maybe ten trial keys to hand out or something. To people that are interested in playing DF.

The devs should not need to compromise the game and change the world to make a trial fit anyone who just sees the words "free trial" on a MMO site.

If you are referring to darkfall, its a bad representation of sandbox games. Im not even sure why people even classify it as such. Its more akin to Planetside than UO.

Dont confuse people by calling DF sandbox.

I think there is alot of whining here now. In  2009 we finally got some sandbox MMOs. Been years since we saw one. And people still complain!  Darkfall, Mortal Online, and soon Black Prophecy and Infinity.

The sandbox crowd will have some games to play : )

I have been waiting since Pre-CU SWG (2005).

But this year i got Darkfall and soon Mortal Online : )

So hopefully my waiting is over.

Just forget everything you have played before, now it is on!  : )

Take a look at the "NEW" clan and join them. They will help you with everything in the beginning.

With DF beeing a SCS, it is not impossible a used name is really "used". So noone else can use it!

"Some time ago, Claus gave the community a compact list of the features that will be introduced in the upcoming expansion, “Conquer the Seas”. Today, we will shed a bit more light on one of those features and specifically, new housing objects.

The item that we will present to you warranted its own spotlight thread because it’s not only a house decoration; it also introduces a new feature in the game. So without further ado we present the Darkfall Slot Machines!

These items of wonder and wealth come in 2 different types. Those 2 types will be differentiated by their betting amount. One of the coolest things about them is that there will be 2 global jack pots, one for each type of slot machine, that anyone playing will have a chance of winning.

They will be placed in your house like all the other objects, through deeds you find while adventuring. It will be possible to place them in all types of houses no matter their size and anyone can use them. This allows the home owner to leave his house open for random players to go in and use the slot machine, making village life more interesting.

There are other types of MMOs themn your awerage kids themepark game.

Try something different and see what you have missed!

And if you have tryed all different kindes of games and still not having any fun, i would suggest to find another hobby : )

In another MMO this could be something bad, but in Darkfall you can just look them up and gank them.

Then the next time they try and act tough in racechat you just have to tell them what happend last time, and everypne will be laughing at them. And they will have been 100% disarmed from geek epen feelings.
