For me personally I've been there and done that long, long ago (pre-wow). By the time i tried WOW i was so burned out by kill this kill that, watch numbers tick away game-play. I didn't last a couple weeks in that game, or the others I tried at the time (05). I didn't play another MMO until AOC, even then I basically just played for the story content.

It would be interesting to see how many of these so called "hardcore" are also going around complaining there's nothing good out there, MMO's need to innovate rabble,rabble....!

One word... Moderation.

Interesting point. I guess I was biased as well regarding that therm, being used to call every MMORPG out there "MMO".

Let's admit though, that most people out there will indeed think of MMORPG when they see MMO; I think it's firmly rooted in the gaming culture by now.

Vanguard is a PvE game...always was and always will be.  The PvP world is getting no love there and most of the Community is OK with that...as long as the PvE game keeps improving.

I ain't coming back to Vanguard. I did that mistake like everyone, I bought the game, installed it, looked at it... it was ugly, gtlichy, sucky, and i uninstalled. And now I'm waiting for a certain 18th september.
