Yup just re-sub and download the game. There are 3500 people on right now which is better than what there was last i played.

I just re-subbed and almost done downloading. Can't wait to do some 8-year anniversary quests and figure out the best gear for my scout >.<

I love this game and when Aion got boring to me I decided to come back to this.

WoW didn't have a trial right away... They had buddy keys but not trials. You still had to know someone who bought it.

Aion probably wont have trials right off the back either

The game just came out really... I mean with the kinda crummy launch at EU and now with the new launch on NA...

Trials usually don't start until a half year from launch to 1 year after launch. Why do people always ask for a trial for a MMO right when it comes out? it is retarded and it would be bad for business in the long run to have a trial at the beginning.

I like this game to an extent. I like the crafting and gathering system but i almost find the pvp lacking in melee and archery (the two things i enjoy more than magic).

If you don't use magic you are just wasting your time in pvp in my opinion.

It is an awesome game. Not sure how many play these days though.

A lot of foerigners in the game and it is easy to hack again. Just can't hack as an archer it seems. :-\ I say that because there are a lot fewer of them around these days.

Anyways, this game is junk. The community has turned to junk. DONT PLAY IT!!! so many better games out or comming... ie. TwelveSky2 and pristontale 2 etc....

I tryed playing the beta a few times now. Everytime I am kicked or I am having video issues.

I am running 1920x1200 and it looks kind of odd. I also lost connection to the server to often to even know which way is up and which way is down...

Anyone else have video troubles?

I am not sure if WAR or L2 have quite what I am looking for.

Like in DAoC, in the new frontiers you can capture keeps and your guild banner is on the keep when you own it. I want to have some sort of recognition / collection of taxes even?  Some better incentive to capture the keeps.

I am looking for a game where guilds take over land / castles or anything like that.

Something with good amounts of fast PvP.

Any ideas?

yeah you can only lose items if you are a felon...

That is what I was trying to explain lol

If your title is Felon then you can lose items... So if you kill a lot of people and become a felon you will drop items in your inventory not what you are wearing.

Anyways, the GM's have mostly patched and fixed the hacking problem. You would have to be a really good hacker to speed hack like they used to... ^^

I think they are actually going to add more skill / spells but it will take a while.

They get all of their updates from the Korean one but it takes a while for everything to translate and what not.

In metin2.us you can buy (through the metin mall) different styles of hair which give you certain attributes that will help in pvp.

Otherwise you can dye your hair without changing the style from a number of colors: red, white, blonde, black, purple, etc...

There are 3 nations. You can PK within your own nation but you will lose your title. Admirbable is the highest title.

All titles are based on hkp. The higher the better because eventually your skills will use up hkp. You up your skills with skill books and once you reach GrandMaster of a skill it starts to use your hkp everytime you use the skill.

You can pk other nations anytime you want... but normally people do not unless they are having a bad day or are really bored. Most of the time you won't get killed by other nations. Also, you can only start pvp after lvl 20 or so.

It is a really fun game. I encourage you to give it a try. :-)
