Originally posted by bcbully So are they readable, in english, and not broken like they were before? You avoided the question and didnt answer it at all. For you it may be not be game breaking, but for people that like to read quest/mission dialog and feel part of a world they play in, it certainly is. If a developer cannot be bothered to translate a game to english, for an english market, it doesnt give me much confidence in what they are doing. |

Avabel is the next big MMORPG release on mobiles. It just got its English Client a few days ago : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asobimo.avabel_gp_b3&feature=md |

So are quest/mission texts actaully readable now? When I talk to an NPC does it make sense and have actual structure to the conversation instead of random gibberish? The games really not hard to figure out at all and those blaming the 'learning curve' for people not liking it I think are using it as a shield, but having to skip pretty much every piece of text because it made more sense to not bother reading it was seriously immersion breaking. |

Age of Wushu: Launch Date Announced

It felt clunky and terribly unpolished to me. Dialogue made no sense at all which spoils it from the start, and despite quite a nice looking world it feels constantly cluttered due to the low quality UI. PVP has its fun moments but the clunky feel takes away any finesse it could have had. Tried on several occasions and come away with the same conclusion each time. Just another eastern cash shop mmo but this time with a pvp mission/event system thrown in... |

Funcom Q4 2012 casually announces...
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 3/01/13 6:32:45 PM
Funcom have been very open about what they are doing, and the restructuring taking place, and its a very positive step for them, certainly not doom and gloom, just smart business and long overdue. It makes me much happier to see them taking action to improve things. |

AV makes macroing impossible for gains. RIP macroing toons.
General Discussion « Darkfall: Unholy Wars 2/21/13 11:23:35 AM
It wont prevent anything, it just makes it a little more difficult. Macro's and bot's are written for just about every task in every MMO and always can be. The real problem has always been AV's lack of action and stance towards macro's, and I dont see any of that having changed... |

Id keep an eye on what they are doing with FFXIV. If you want something to tick you over until then maybe Runescape can fill the gap. While not the prettiest MMO, mechanically its very well done with no set classes.

Mortal Online: Now Free to Play
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 11/29/12 6:11:12 PM
While I did enjoy what little time I spent in MO, there is no denying it was a mess and unstable, and it wasnt that long ago since I experienced that. I dont see this going well at all, but if they can find a way to save MO through it then good luck to them. |

Xsyon: Prelude: Apocalypse Announces Kickstarter
News & Features Discussion « General Discussion 11/22/12 7:05:16 AM
Originally posted by bbbb42 Wrong. People have no issue supporting a low budget indie game, as many of us did. What is an issue is being sold one thing and being given something else. Had they been honest with what they had from day one, there would have been no problems, instead they sold a bloated feature list, many of which have still never seen the light two years later, and they are now asking for more money again... |

While not an MMORPG, Natural Selection 2 would be perfect for what you want in terms of TPS/FPS. For the medieval style combat, Mortal Online, or for offline play Skyrim. |
