Really? Did you see an offiicial reviewer post something like "f*ck you BioWare" x10 or only rant about Bioware or EA and don't mention the game at all? Rants about just the DLC? Thats not something I've seen by any official reviewers. The most hilarious are about 'the officials getting paid' or 'that they just made an account to "review" the game' (which is in reality spitting their disgrunted opinion). Thats what I meant with nonsense.

What my team (playing Republic) usually does is... doing things too much solo and die... :-/

Strange that I don't see anyone mention the permadeath you had in pre-CU SWG. All work of getting the Jedi * POOF* gone. That must have made quite a few people mad xD

I would go for an 8. Sure, there are still many things they can add but the state it is in now is solid with enough to do (expect when you rush things of course...). Ratings lower than 6 are nothing but biased hate and should not be taken serious at all cause they were expecting things that were never said to be delivered or are just trolling.

99% of the negative reviews are complete nonsense, I've been reading several of them. They haven't played at all but are just there to trash the game. I don't take user reviews serious at all over there when its so obivious that they are trolling all over the place.

Oh dear.. Launch day for TOR on metacritic seems to be a burning hell! So many biased hate again. People on that site are just never able to look at things without a biased opinion... The owners of that site really should do something about this crap. :-/

I started with a Jedi Consular which I've made a Jedi Shadow now and its good fun. Early acces was pretty good although I've spend quite some time in queue's... I've seem to be hitting a bug too when NPC's suddenly vanished and popped up again when I stood almost inside them xD

I see myself playing for many months to come. Now they better be working on additional content for it doesn't feel as complete as it could be. Nevertheless, thanks BioWare, great game :)

You could also set up and pay with a Paypal account. You just add your bank account to the Paypal account and you're done. Thats how I've done it. No need for credit cards or game cards.

I've been playing until the last sec before the servers went down :P

All seems to be set and there seem to be enough servers. The launch should go smooth. *crosses fingers*

The problem is the Senate gear looks like a gay man's outfit on a male. That's why I'm forced to play as a female. That way you get the kind of wise and diplomatic look like Amidala.

 

EDIT: The best example would be the headgear on this page (http://www.swtor.com/info/holonet/classes/jedi-consular) imagine this on a male.

Anyway, I am heavily thinking about the Jedi Counsular and going Shadow as advanced class. Those double bladed sabers look great!

You bet I'll be playing but not when it comes out but days before that (hopefully tomorrow) with early acces. My CE box will arrive on Thursday. :)

EDIT: Just received a mail from the retailer, it will be coming tomorrow!

Oh and I'm quite sure there will be other Traditional MMO's. The cow hasn't been milked completely. And no TOR won't go FTP ever, in that case they could have done the same already with SWG (which will be closing in 3 days). LA only goes the way of the coin.

I felt that space in SWG was boring after a while. It was fun at the start, getting quests, gaining xp, buying a new ship and components but unless you actually had some friends/guildies coming along, it was pretty much a singleplayer experience and became a boring grind pretty fast for only a stronger ship to fly. In all the years I've played (joined shortly after that *** NGE hit) I've never seen any pvp in space. BioWare will have to (and hopefully can) do it better to keep it interesting for me but until then I'll go with what they made right now.

Send this list to BioWare and maybe they can fix a thing or two before release :)
