Vanguard is a good game, Same with War, but the 1  thing that i personnally feel is that War has more action going on, more things to do, its more 'alive' then Vanguard.....

The only reason i wanna delete my beta, cause its 9g, anyways, thx for replying, i just deleted the Beta folder, and installed the retail version lastnight, but it didnt create a shortcut on the desktop to start the game?

I just downloaded the retail version from Direct2Drive, can i delete the 9.3g folder that was for the open beta??? without causing any damage to the retail download version??

I havent felt this kind of excitement since EQ, currently rank 12 and i am loving this game...good job Mythic!!

I think its too early to make such an assumption,  its just CE, next is SE, then the game goes live to the world, hence your gonna have 10x more the people playing after sept.18, so lets just wait a few weeks and see how the population is then, i think it will not be a problem at all,

ya i noticed this too, when i join a scenerio it takes longer now, it does look like it hangs a bit...i am sure they will fix this, no worries..

Nothing intellligent to speak of, what else do you expect from a simplistic society here....

All i read is how this is a knock off to wow, that game didnt bring nothing new to the table, this game is the same as the other.......what did WoW bring that was new, the only thing they brought to to gaming world is a negative one, they down graded the gaming community, making games  simplistic, which has a ripple effect to other games now, Wow is a huge knock off other previous games before its time, Just starting to get annoyed from other gamers that have not experienced any other games before Wow came out, you have a bunch of virgins telling everyone else about games....

I just downloaded the game from fileplanet, ran the patch, now when i hit the 'play button' i get this message "An Error Occurred- - Warhammer will now terminate.", i ran the file scan  and everything came back ok, anybody have an idea why i am getting this error?

ya, cosmetics is really no big deal, that can be fixed, gotta look at the bigger picture, the game runs smooth and is alot of fun, the rest will fall into place in time.

you guys are right, 'open beta' means the game is out at the stores and its ready for the world...lol

ya, you have to wait till the 7th to patch, make sure you use your gaming username and password that you made at the warhammer site, not the account info, but you should be go to go come the 7th

If you where not invited in the first PW, and have now pre-ordered, can you still play on the 5th, or have to wait till the 7th?

I never understood how certain people can mistake reality with fanasty, especially with computer games,  I actually make a male and a female character, the reason i make a femal character is that i love a good kick-ass in your face type female, its got  nothing to do that i am a male, i am a pervert, etc.etc.etc....I think once you start thinking a little bit 'wierd' and freaky', its time to stop staring at the computer screen, and go out  to your local pub and have a few drinks.

how long did it take blizzard to come out with Burning Crusade??...hmmm
