2 Thieves that are specced for critical and burst damage, especially if both of them land a successful "crit" backstab, will kill you, i applaud the 2 thieves if they pulled that off, that is what you call a successful assassination,  exactly what the class is meant to do, you where at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and paid the price of what is called, teamwork..........

Maybe it's your skills that are lacking, cause if you truly knew, and are specc'd right, you can pown thiefs....

I wonder what happens when you get jumped by 2 Elementals?  Think about that...

My sense of achievement is destroying someone that does not rely on there gear, knowing that it was my skill against that of another brings the game to another level,  I absolutely love this game..  Enough said.

Gamespy even did a mmo feature written in 2003 - a full year before WOW released

I also agree with the OP,  I just think we have alot of new generation gamers that want the simplicity of gaming, thus majority of games are not long term, they are short term, cause really, there isnt alot of set goals within the game,(ex. obtaining keys to access new areas, making it a goal to get that gear, or taking down a huge boss with 30+ other people,) yes these newer games, Tera,Rift and so on do offer a bit, but its like they are missing something, missing something that EQ and vanilla WoW offered.......

Then you havent played it. I'm not saying GW2 is OMGFLASHYNEWSTUFF like some. But to say its no diffrent than any game in the last 10 years just smells of a troll post or someone talking out there ass having never played it before. Like GW2 or not who cares. Dont try and tell anyone who has played it that its the same though. My buddy HATES the game. He uninstalled it saturday evening. But even he admits its "diffrent". It just wasnt diffrent enough for him.

Not sure if its the worst, but people really over hype a game, especially gw2, not sure really what the awsomeness is?, really feels like i played this type of game for the past 10 years.

Dunno, I feel a real challenge when alot of people need a good strategy to kill an insane boss, not running around like a chicken with its head cut off  spamming the keyboard like a crazy person.....ya, awsome pvp

Vast majority of players that complain about launch are the in-experienced MMO gamers, they are use to there console gaming.Every BIG MMO that came out, had very similiar issues, but then again, you pple complaining know everything about gaming dont ya:P

MMO's been around for alot of years now,  basically they are all the same type of game, not sure what more you can do thats so 'innovating' that people keep saying, companies have spent millions and millions of dollars to see there investment fail. Dont really see a good future for MMO's, gaming industry is going console heavy now, went to a EB store and 98% of it was all console type games, hardly no PC games left.

I learned not to believe anyones Preview, ohhh how they said AoC was amazing, and SWTOR was incredible, these companies are a joke, best preview is your own, play it then you decide, never listen to anyone.  end of story

We entered the Warcraft years for gaming, and the new generation of gamers expect games to be on easy mode, if its too hard, they post themselves on youtube an look like a fool infront of millions...gaming needs to go back to the hardcore years, thats when they will be successful again.

How does this equal success?  Getting a ton of people to come try your newly free game isn't 'success', getting them to stick around for months or years and buy stuff is success.

It's the same crap we get every time one of these games goes F2P. Press release touting what a success their first month was, then... Nada.

How people can still tout the "success" of an FtP conversion in the first month, I don't know. When one of these companies comes back with big success numbers six months or a year later, then it'll mean something. Until then...

I use to play Dragonheart back in the day, man, was that awsome and exciting, I miss those days, its too bad the newer generation of gamers didnt experience it, but then again, they want everything handed to them on a silver plater....

This is the 'Pepsi generation gamers' time,  these kids would not know what to do with extreme death penalties, they would go and probably shout and scream and cry to there parents, or video themselves like fools and post it on youtube...enough said.
