Come on man? How are they supposed to implement the base raids if people can’t enter and help defend their base? Especially since there are Items of Power at stake which permanently buff ALL the supergroup members while the IoP is possesed? That’d be asking for nothing but a flame war. If people got gipped out of their IoP, there are entire groups that would pack up and leave. It’s not the “carebears” fault it’s borked, but the devs should have had this fixed already instead of adding new content. I agree with you about that.
To the OP:
I’m glad you’re liking the game! I’ve been playing for 2 years and while some *aspects* of the game have become repetitive, new Archetypes and concepts are always a lot of fun. I also wanted you to know Freedumb is the laggiest server. You’ll find the population doesn’t matter to very much, as you’re nearly always able to find a team. I see you were in Port Oakes, so you’re probably around level 10-14. If lag is a bad issue, try another less populated server. Also, look (http://coh.meridime.com/?action=view_comments_article&article_id=17)here for east/west coast servers to save your connection traveling.

I’m not dismissing your idea; I’m dismissing your personal view, I’m not dismissing that there is potential for a problem. There is potential for a problem with anything. A person that goes to the gym is in peril of becoming addicted to it. Does it mean everyone in the gym is an addict? Hell no. I don’t know if you were jaded or hurt by someone that had no ability to balance their personal relationships and their gaming, but grand standing about how everyone that plays video games more then you see fit is going to devolve into a lonely, emotionally void of losers is a pathetic and small minded POV.
And could you point me in the “proper” behavior area for the internet? I must have missed it around the “right to an opinion” zone and “just b/c I don’t agree with you, doesn’t make me wrong” district. |

Anyway,
Yeah Good vs. Evil will give you both sides, and still only costs you $15 a month.
But this game isn’t like WoW. You *can* grind out one character for your entire Co* career (especially w/ the new *free* issue 9 about to come out) but it’s the variety of characters that really allows players to be immersed in this game.
