Gamers - They always fail to surprise me. See, that is the classic response to something even just resembling accusations of gaming addiction (which this definately was not). Angry flaming (it's of no use and you can't simply reject an argument/statement just because you find it unfavourable). And yes, I have taken this up with my brother.

I suggest we end this now. I will not change my statement, that putting in too much time (e.g. commitment) is a sickening waste of time that will only lead to personal decay. (Based on experience, so please don't try to prove me wrong by flaming me again)

What you read is of no more importance than what I read, and your behaviour is improper.

And could you point me in the “proper” behavior area for the internet? I must have missed it around the “right to an opinion” zone and “just b/c I don’t agree with you, doesn’t make me wrong” district.

Commitment? HAH! In my opinion, you should never have "commitment" to a computer game (you should have commitment to your partner and your friends). Too many people waste their lives on computer-games commitment. (Yes, it's true, and WoW is the worst villain)

I think you should try finding a good spot just in between commitment and I-don't-give-a-shit. (Preferably leaning more towards I-want-to-hang-out-with-my-friends). My brother plays computer games up to 12 hours a day. That's sickening, and there's nothing 'normal' about it, as he says (,and others).
