well in words of a a man i met at the COMIC CON last year while i was playing a demo for WAR "WoW took a lot of things off of Warhammer and we were really upset about that, were not trying to make of a copy of WoW, even though people will see it that way, Warhammer had been a long a very long time ever sence the figures you would play on a table"  

i have played the game  and it looks very good, i made a mage starting out and the spells look a lot better this game and the game is put together much better then WoW was

WoW is a good game  no doubt although i quit after a month and  havent looked back there are 8 million people and climbing playing this game  but trust me WoW will be a "been there, done that" game once the new expanison is beating over and over again.

unless wow can come out with a new expansion about ever y year to a year and a half the game wil get boring.    only reason i think Guild Wars is doing so well.

saying this game is no good is liike saying the NGEs for SWG was a great idea  yeah we will see when WOW takes turns for the worst and Vanguard is a dump  this game is the only thing trying something new and all the others are just clones of the one before it

this game is real  no cartoon graphics or sloppy characters    no ocrs or elfs   just humans fighting tooth and nail for claim to a border fort and to see who is top in the arena to see who is the strongest and the wisest on the feild of battle

magic users are very well set up in this game such as a few nercos joining togetehr to creat a larger and much more powerfull pet

spellweaving is a great advantage except for the fact that it might backfire and hurt the caster

every class in the game is ballanced and very well

player cities and housing brought me to DAoC first of all  and almost made me get into this game =]  i just cant wait!

raiding will only give a smaller advantage  and raiding wont be a big part of this game  

it will give a smaller advantage then a game like WOW would

no no no  they mean the area will have a cap to how many cities there can be  in that one area  just so that the cities will not be on top of each other

the raid will be smaller then wow    about 25 man raid for the largest    there will be instances but  no instances wont be the only thing you do  

so in answer to your question     they will have some instances 

i still play DAoC  almost every day  if you enjoy playing it  stay    i love the game and RVR a lot   thidranki is stil good for battlegrounds and NF is stilll alright on some of the larger servers  but  yeah if you need a large population  play on the classic servers   still a great game but yes with each mmo it has dwindled   when wow come out  it was hit so hard  it was a said day seeing a 1500 people server go to about 400 people.

if you have frineds on it  play it  if not i wouldnt have someone new to MMOs play it

The best gear will require raiding, and several character development options are only available if you're in a guild and have the guildmaster's approval, so I'd say that's a whopping yes. You will definately either have to raid or be second rate, though the devs have said their raids will be sized more like WOW's expansion raids (25-man and some smaller) rather than 40-man ones.

being in a guild, will help  but  no you dont really have to have a guild to be good   

and the raiding part   crafting will be just as good   the best gear wont really have to be gotten through raid  but  yes the 25 and smaller raids will give great gear  but you wont have to raid to be good in PVP

its good they do it like that becuase i dont think anyone wanted to do the 1-20 septs again after they do it once  justs makes it easyer

im glad they have a 1-20 single player   it bring people into the game and give them a start with all the controls and the interface of the game

thats what iv been saying all the clsses are still there its just how you spec them

in the end  your goign to end up saying i have an 80 lotus master and people will know what you mean

You are so far off the mark you cant even see it if you believe the number of classes has anything to do with being next gen or a good mmo in general.
You should opt for one of the D&D games or DAoC, they would appear to be more what you are looking for.

its one of the main reason so many people left SWG post NGE, they liked the choices and being able to make thier own "class". They didn't want to be the typical boring overdone "tank" ... "healer" ... "Dps". UO is one of the more talked about PVP games and yet wow look at that no classes. Same thing with EVE, pure skill and another very popular game. If EVE devs said they were making "classes" the game would die in a day.

one of the biggest requests on most MMO forums ... more classes ... gee i wonder why?

due you have to be kidding me  all the classes have varibilty and many choses to choose from its all how you spec your damn character there wont be just three tanks there will be three classes but may differnt ways to spec them depending on how you play. the 14 classes are there just condensided  to make it easyer to choose the class  but you still will spec how you want to   so in the end  you can still choose to be a lotus master  you just ahve to spec it right

so people stop complaining nothing really changed  the game is still how it was   just making things easyer

WAR has been around much longer then wow and is very popular. and MYthic has yet to disapoint me

all the classes are still there just the anmes have changed and they have given them  more abilites

this is not bad   you just have to choose what you want to be instead of picking it at level you spec in the abilites
