South Park got the answer as always. Apart from that Youtube is just a big bunch of people with too much time making videos that are quite bad and then everyone telling them they own, or just making generally stupid comments.

As much as the it seems awesome and I would love to go the convention I can't really afford it... Seems like it will be quite good though.

As I said in another post; awesome photos. My favorite one is definitely the cat, but they are all good. Would like to see more if possible.

Congratulations! Must feel quite awesome to win something of such... goodness. I've so far won one contest and there got a Gods and Heroes beta key, after multiple attempts to download the game I realized it was down; the day after that I saw that the game (and beta) was closed and would most likely not open for some time. Hopefully your prize will provide more fun than mine did.

I'm against it. A human should never be given the ability to decide whether or not another human should be killed or not. Even if the deciding human is "perfect" mistakes will be done; and most humans aren't "perfect". I personally believe that every human can change to the better; my opinion is therefore that every criminal should be given the chance to better themselves and go to a therapist. Those deciding not to better themselves can be put in jail, although that should hopefully be quite few...

I agree with Lydon: what is the point of having levels (and gear-stress) in PvP at all? I'd much rather see that you can, as in GW: create a PvP only character and bring it into PvP ready to play, with that system you can easily try out different classes and can easily switch if you're required to play something else.

Not too mention your job as a Monk: you would have to do your best to try to keep watch of the whole area and who all different players are attacking, how they are positioned, to which other target they could switch, if a spike is incoming and what skills to use for every player and situation, as well as trying to manage your energy and not heal/pre-prot a target who already got a heal/pre-prot by another monk. Guild Wars would in that state become a big chaos; and a monks hell.

The raw, sad, fucking truth is that's the only thing being ran. It's extremely easy to get together Ursanway and it's pretty much one of the best PvE teams currently. A few examples of different variation of Ursanway is Dervish Ursans or Frost Ursans however the most common version is this. There may be a few people trying to run different builds, but those usually stick to inviting friends or guldies; if what you're looking for is a PuG then you'll definitely be asked to play Ursanway.

as far as i can see, EoTN rox, but nightfall (ive tried it a little at my friends house) its a little hard. i advise u to finish Proph, which someone said, (srry i forgot hu it was) then move on to Nightfall cuz its more hard. the quest are harder and longer, but the races are awesome! i mean i love the skill Savant Of Balthazar used by Dervish. its like Speed+ and Attack+ and a really awesome peice of armor! :D Guildwars rok on till the end

you mean...

That skill does however not increase the damage dealt, only make your attacks armor ignoring - since they are turned into Holy damage. But Dervishes are a quite awesome class that's very strong thanks to their ability to hit up to three targets with Scythes, that also deal ~100 damage per hit. Oh, and there are no races either - sadly - only different classes, you're forced to be a human.

My anticipation is, after watching the gameplay trailer, as high as it is for the next korean farm MMO. Hack N' Slash with dungeons that changed slightly every time you entered them worked when they released Diablo 2 - now it's just outdated. Looks like it will just be Diablo 2 but bigger, badder and better! But of course lacking creativity...

Avoiding going outside in case I by some means while being outside find CO2 that could worsen the situation! Sit around on forums pretending I care and get annoyed at all the panicking about Global Warming; and how my parents react to it.

Remember: sarcasm on the internet doesn't work if you're not so overly obvious about that that it lacks any fun. More on to the topic: define purpose... I would say that humans are just trying to make their life more and more comfortable alternatively ruin other peoples comfort; and thus what can serve these purposes is said to serve a purpose while items that aren't usable for any of these don't serve a purpose. Maybe a bit harsh on humans; but the whole thing with purpose is just made by humans to try to add some kind of purpose(!) to their own lives.

Guild Wars if you like MMOs, which you should do if you came to this forum and decided to register... Otherwise Mass Effect seems to be quite good, I've not played it yet but I'm definitely going to. Some older games I would recommend are Zelda:A Link to the Past, Fallout 2 and Megaman.

EDIT: Your image is seriously freaking me out.

Where did all the really serious guys who always managed to pull out thousands of links to movies and posts from scientists that told why the Global Warming isn't real, or at least not man-made. I personally believe in Global Warming but is starting to hate the fact that it's everywhere; you can hardly do anything without coming across all this "good for global warming" stuff. And what's even worse is that when they report about it in the newspapers they can't even get their facts straight!

Global Warming is probably real, but it's not the end of the world. Sure if we let it continue for 50-100 years it may turn our earth into some post-apocalyptic scenario, but we've got lots of time to change. If you constantly scream at a human to do a u-turn in how he lives he'll in the end start to panic and not do anything at all - and that's what happening.

  • Oblivions skill system, or at least the idea; lots of the skills need to be redone to work in a MMO.
  • Guild Wars' tactical skill system, mix it with Oblivions and take the best of the two.
  • Guild Wars's graphics; most computers can handle them and they still look awesome.
  • LotRO's quest and storyline.
  • CoH's/CoV's character customization.
  • Guild Wars' PvP.

Post-apocalyptic setting, no idea which game feature that. Probably forgot some aspect of the game, but that's all I could came up with currently.

Second chance has come and gone imo, if this is the improved GOA god help us.

Pheace speaks the truth. I've not had bad experience with GOA before but after seeing the EU website and having tried to use it I've slowly lost my belief in them.

Thats good enough for me...

Quoted For Truth. My hopes is that they will stick to this and no release an unfinished game consisting of more bugs than I got posts... Apart from that I think the post could be renamed to simply Guild Wars 2 FAQ as much of the other information is also important and not just the fact that there won't be no beta 2008. The most of the information is old and I knew of it already, but it doesn't prevent me from getting enthusiastic every time I read about; my anticipation for this is huge.

Quite amazing pictures in the post above me (didn't bother to quote it though). I theorycraft about games, I currently play Guild Wars and a major aspect of the game is theorycrafting. I'm with friends, although that's quite rare since they all are with their respective girlfriends... I read around 200 pages per day, and sometimes even more. I spend lots of time on forums too.

JestorRodo posted the same thing over at the Pub: Sony has lost over $3 billion on the PS3. And apart from that haven't Microsoft also lost money from selling the Xbox 360 since they sold it for less than it cost to make it?

Unpredictable fits your description slightly better; and I don't think they would be as fun if they weren't as unpredictable as they are - knowing where you got everything all the time becomes quite boring.
