I would like a game company that managed to find a happy medium. I dont care for flase promises, but not a fan of bein in the dark either.

Not asking for constant stream of hyping and screen shots. But at least 1 official video.

Its great that a big company wants to use heroengine, it means that this game wont be using some washed up gaming engine not only that, the engine they created is so good, other companies want to use it even before the game its being created for has been released. That is very good to know, it means i havent choosen to invest my time in the wrong game.

I just would like to see an article or something saying how the progress is going. So we dont get threats like this, wondering why there are cobwebs growing on our forums.

I lost interest in playing this game when i found out that all classes were bound to a certain gender.

This game isnt a lineage clone, lineage is a game that is doing much better in the US then a lot of the korean games that have been released in the past 2 years. Lineage 2 isnt a second rate game, but it suffers from te same nonsense as most asian games. Limited customization, and zero diversity.

Archlord will be no different. IF you think lore is a good enough reason for classes to be locked by gender, and willing to play a game, even after admitting that the control suck, the world is boring, and rolling with the hope that it will improve someday, then your standard for a MMO is quite low.

I have no hope for archlord, with the old engine, and payment system, this game will die slowly like Matrix online.

Cant belive peoiple still wanna pay for ths game after finding out it is free in korea, and china, the country that made this game.

I dont understand that level of blind ignorance, but then again, were talking about the same country that thought segregation was a good idea at one point.

IM waiitng for the game to actually go into beta before i judge it. The videos didnt do much for me, but reading the classes and such have my attention, im hoping hte game is better then the videos show.

ncsoft doesnt own cabal, lets get the companies right before we trash them shall we.

besides what cabal did was bait and switch, alot of testers were NA, including me, we got to max level, added a bunch of posts on forums about problems in game, then we get told we arent allowed to play anymore followed by ip ban. cabal isnt worth investing in.

The game is just a potion fest, no real challenge involved.

I actually started laughing when i read that.. accounts only creatable on saturdays.

Pass on this one.

To be honest, the phrase is used the way kuzzled suggested. Most people will look at pictures and make their descision based on looks before actually reading. Reason why Sex sells in society today. Theres only a few people who actually read over choosing based on the looks.

I am all for zone descriptions.

I actually downloaded the game and played it to the end of the demo. And being a person who has played oblivion i can say this game is better, the combat is cool, and the interactive envioroment is awesome, i will definatly get this game on release.

And this is an open beta forums, not just for MMOs, but for all games, ive seeen plenty of other games advertised here if mods had a problem with this thread they would delete it.

Funny thing is, a lot more asian game devs are comming to western companies so a lot of western games are slowly getting the anime looks. Its not hard to tell if a game is asian or not anyway, You dont need a list of western only companies.

Music is for listening, not watching.

And even blackpeople dont watch bet, that channel is nonsense, jamie foxx 20 hours a day then comic view for an hours, then the rest is girlfriends. Who watchs that crap.

Music channels ingeneral need to be gotten rid of.

On that note... I do think the payment plan is a bit whacky.     I think if I decided to play archlord for $40.00 a month, I'd have to consider cancelling my 4 EvE online accounts (4 x $14.99).    Or maybe not since I could train them whilst playing Archlord!

Personally i work, and play games, i dont sleep to much mainly because i cant, but if i was someoen who supported this nonsense system, all this would do would give me something besides my computer to put my extra cash into, i cant really condone that crap.

IF you have ever gotten angry at an ebayed character or a farmer ruining the economy then concider yourself a hypocrite if you support this system in anyway. I cant see any other way to put it, this is no different from gold selling, this game might as well be run by IGE, or someother gold selling company.

What makes you say something like this? Heros journey, the only game being made with the hero engine isnt even out yet. And if youwatch the movies, look at the screen and read what is promissed you will see that what simultronics can do with their system. Heros journey will be one of the best MMO's  in 2007, just because the company doesnt have some tyrant liike SoE funding them so they can whore up the advertising, dont count this company out.

Have you actually watched the movies? and seen their interactive enviroment in action? or Seen their dynamic casting, character customization? have you gone to the website and actually read any of the faqs, read any of the articles, looked at any screenshots? I highly doubt it, otherwise you wouldnt of said soemthing so foolish.

And Hero online And Heros JOURNEY are 2 different games that you guys seem to be confusing, should pay attention before you talk down a game. Hero online isnt even simultronics, and even if it was, have you played that game, why would bioware buy that system.
