You would be surprised at how much it doesn't "feel" like a F2P. It isn't a constant grind, which is a good thing, and separates itself from the norm in F2P MMOs. I agree with some others on the fact that it should've been P2P, being that the quality that Allods sets is quite amazing. I'm usually not the one to get all giddy over F2P MMOs, but this one has changed my mind, it is just...different. |

Stone Age 2 I haven't played it, but it is turn based. |

Just when you thought it was over... |

You do know that is from the movie Kung Pow, right? It was awesome. Second, @OP, you know diabetes it also hereditary? Not sure if that makes much of a difference, but just throwing it out there. Of course, I have no interest in Free Realms, but I thought this thread was interesting. |

WAR definitely, that $50 will be well worth it. You'll get more productive features for your money. Choose wisely, and reseach and compare features between the two MMOs as possible. As for me, I'm going for WAR, been following it forever, waiting for the Open Beta to begin now. Which is not to mention right around the corner. :) |

Have a look at the WoW forums, that is enough explanation as to why they 'will not' have forums of any sort. |

Exactly! WAR has absolutely no comparison in graphics to WoW with the new engine. Why can't people just let it go now? And you should probably go and check out the most recent screenshots of WAR, you'll be quite amazed. |

Well, when there are boobs involved, that is when you get your immature community. And by "boobs" I mean, sweaty man boobs. |

Do you think this is enough to play AoC at WoW-smoothness?

mintor, You know you can add all of that in one single post right? There is no need for multiple postings. |

It's obvious which one you want to play. You posted in the Warhammer Online forums, and you put WAR in your title first before AoC. There you go, good choice! :) |

Originally posted by elvenangelAmazon rocks! I just put in my cancel request at GameStop, hopefully they don't hit the cancel all customer orders button or something like that. I'd hope they get the cancellation right at least. Anyway, yeah, wish I would've known about Amazon before all of this, you get the keys instantly, I like that. Thanks Elvenangel :) |

There was a time when kids thought Night Elf females were, "Hot". I guess that is what attracted a lot of them to, well, WoW. As for AoC, it will probably become the same scenario. It seems FunCom is marketing their game this way, it will most likely attract guys (and maybe girls) over age 18 as well. You know some kids are going to lie to their parents and not tell them anything about the game, and of course they'll pay for it anyway. Like the saying goes, "Sex sells". That is all there is to it. |

Originally posted by Deadzero Well, as Drgnprpht999 said it allows you to enter into Open Beta when it starts, and allows for early access before regular buyers. You can get more info on pre-ordering Warhammer Online CE here: http://www.warhammeronline.com/collectorsedition/ But, there are only 60,000 (probably less now) copies in North America. So, they're limited supply. If you pre-order the CE, you aren't charged until the game ships, and the retailer will send you the beta keys once you request them. However, as you can see here on my current issue, GameStop decided to give me an Age of Conan early entry key instead of the Warhammer Online key. Be carful. |

Originally posted by Deadzero Yes, I am fully aware it isn't an AoC Beta key (Look up there a bit, I mentioned that I entered it in the wrong site, I forgot the key wasn't for beta...). However, the Warhammer Online Collectors Edition is for Open Beta, which is what I'm after. But, someone at GameStop had no idea what they were doing, or they did it purposely for some reason I don't know. Really though, I was kidding about using the AoC key indefinitely, I could care less. I just tried it before to see if it was actually valid or not. The thing that gets me, is the fact that the first time I replied, it was with the invoice attached. And I even included the order number, just so they wouldn't mess up. Lo and behold, they did mess it up! I thought about maybe drawing out a diagram for them in Paint, or even draw them a pretty picture of the correct game, instead of the typed out order number in the email. I'm just really stumped on how they mixed up Age of Conan and Warhammer Online. They even had the order number and invoice, which I think shows them the name of the product on their end. Right? I'd hope so. I'm thinking this is some weird marketing trick as someone mentioned, I actually agree with that. Now, I'm not bitching about this or anything, I am just really stumped on GameStops stupidity. I can be patient. I'll wait for GameStops reply, and see if they correct it this time. Unless, of course, they send me a Hello Kitty Online beta key or something, then I'll think about it. |
