Interesting thing to say, cause there already is a way to play EQ2 with Wii controllers, no doubt they would install and adapt the same thing in AoC. |

No way TBC can get me back with all the mmog Q1 titles that will soon release. My sub is still payed for and waits to expire but it simply serves as a chat with friends there. No content/feature in the game can get me to return after Ive seen the core. |

Achievement leveling/experience is separated from your adventure level and you recieve it from/with: discovery experience, killing a named NPC, claiming a prized item(s), solving quests and by finishing collections. Actually have no idea how it works with expansion bought after certain level, but of course there is a way high levels can mentor down and claim AA from low level zones. Am also interested how this works and how discovery experience affects AA after the zone has already been explored. The bottom line is, as xp is separated from the actual character level experience, high level character can go AA hunting from a named mob/item which he didnt get the first time. I could be wrong but I also noticed you gain more AA from quests several levels above character level. |

Achievement system is something similar to WoWs talent tree. That advancement is what defines your character and makes it unique. Max achievement level is 100 and divided 50/50 through two achievement trees. One tree for defining a character role based on its attributes, and the other one for skill upgrades. Simple as that |

One of the reasons is because sometimes, a casual gamer, that can invest a limited amount of time per day for a game, needs that precious hour or two that was lost when forming a group. |

Unfortunatelly there will be no extensive roleplaying in games that roleplaying isnt forced, so the only thing to do is to shield yourself with a large number of roleplay addicts and form a guild. The other nice thing is to divide roleplaying into sections and satisfy your daily needs with a random encounter. |

As most I left due to awful engame grind. I do not hate the game, it was a nice 4 month ride but at 50 - 60 it crashed and burned. When I saw the uneccessary time length of all the instances it was time to pack. I hope expansion will turn the game into something nice, but with all the promising titles like VSoH/AoC/PoTBS I think Ill never look back. |

Yes, exactly something like that. What I ment graphically is not to develop the visual effect from scratch and changing the texturing, but gfx available through existing spell presets. Although some area spells would require some minor gfx tweaks, but I already saw some spells (in some games), area based that have no gfx effect at all so that wouldnt be a problem |

Can anyone tell me what would happen to a fantasy MMO that has player designed
spells/abilities (also graphically customizable)? Game has several
hundred spell presets and player (with all spell requirements)
researches his own spell. Something like in Oblivion/Morrowind but more
indepth. Nevermind the equipment abilities and procs but class abilities. |

QFT Had the same argument on boring games with a friend at work the other day. There are two things you can do about it, either fight it or go with the flow. If you find how to fight it let me know Would that be trying the new technologies? Like Wii? |

Underlight description seems nice... but yea, its a bit old, although I played lots of good RP MUDS out there, so gfx is not the important factor. I heard something about CoH/CoV and nice roleplay but I dont know if will be able to get into the superhero rp environment, Im more.. a fantasy junkie. |
