Good luck!, FFXI is an intimidating game, not for the weak of heart, dont get discourage as you wander valkrum dune hopeless and at times, alone... and then it gets harder from there on! but this game is rewarding and if your willing to find them, they are great people in the game that will leave an impression on you for quite a while. |

FFXIV - my thoughts after salvaging the web for info
General Discussion « Final Fantasy XIV 6/05/09 2:21:20 AM
So, SE codename "Rapture" MMO, is finally showing some skin of its alluring figure. From the trailer, i immediately thought FFXI-2. Heres what they have revealed that i found important: |

So theres 14 servers in chinese OB? 10k max each server? 2k waiting que? so that shud be 168 thousand ppl let alone the thousands of ppl trying to get on the 2k que list lol |

very similiarities with these two games... |

Like an ideal lover, its someone you wanna invest some time and commitment with... not someone u can have action right off the start. But when u do get some "loving" its worth it... |

Bots are an issue once ur high up in the levels. |

it was orignal surpose to be called Romance and Fantasy a long long time ago... but then Rising Force was better and i guess that song was surpose to be for the Romance and Fantasy part. The Graphics is pretty good in my words, especially the armor, like it actually look decent to wear lol. I find the control similiar to WoW in terms of getting used to. Its user friendly... especially those tip at the top of the screen... but when it comes to indepth game analysis, it gets a bit complicated... and when u figure it out, you have to start all over (im talking about, PT leveling...) Im sure with research before playing the game it could be quite fun and enjoyful for a grinding game ^^ |

you can argue tat rakion isnt a mmorpg but in fact! lol the stage rooms are like instances that you would find in guild wars or WOW.... the pvp rooms are like the arenas in guild wars or those crappy war song gulch in WoW |
|
|
its true that rakion has a little "problem" when it comes to hackers... but when u reach lvl 31+ theres literally no hackers... all the accounts up there are monitor... its acturally quite fun with clan wars and everythiing... now this noob that posted this... had a bad experience with a hacker i bet and let out his anger on this... hes probably only like a lvl 2 at highest lol... BTW hackers DO get banned! especially when it comes to SSH hacks... obvious hacks like rapid range and that too will also get you banned trust me i had friends got banned because of it... |

player driven economy... id play FFXI for a few years... its probably what i see is the closest thing to an economy... WoW... Is all loot n sell... in FFXI i acturally had to farm beehive chips... thunder clusters and everything to make ends meet... What bothers me was how FFXI manage their auction houses.... yes of course there was gil (money) sellers in the game and they jacked up the prices in such high lvls it would take me forever to get enough money by farming... |

3 months wait hmmm im sure in korea their hype wont be going down just cause of a 3 month wait but here in NA/EU ya it will be a shame for us... we have to wait a long time and now we have to wait a longer time lol we would be losing alot of potential players. |

i think its because people imagine chanter as the "Bard" class in FFXI or something like that kind of type... but im sure chanter has some crazy damage skill up its sleeves or something |

Originally posted by Grusome yes, i'm a huge fan of PVP too... looking at assassin i find it be very hard for a less reflexive player like me.. be very hard to go behind people i think lol... and i saw in somehting on aionfuse that elementalist are going to be good in PVP if u use it right. |

Originally posted by Shiineko i would assume so... elementalist would concentrate more on his pet elemental rather than direct nuking from himself i bet |

ya ha some people say "why do they need to know this?" and then there some other people wondering about those people "why do you care to even write a post if you didnt need to know this" and then theres people that say "causes hes a weirdo trying to pass time on his poor excuse as a life" but then there are those people whom do want to rant on about those kinda stuff and they say "Ya i thought AION was gonna be another grind fest too... and why would this be any different... but you gotta look deeper than that i guess ^^ heres to everyone whom arent as shallow" |

yea those arent the real names but aslong as u know what each class does its all good... it seems that the priest classes wont be rare to find in the game :P good news for parties hey |

General Discussion « Sword of the New World 7/12/07 8:26:04 AM
thanks for bringing up some issues like being able to see the level and afk grinding Taz... Seeing that most of the peeves in Granado Espada has been changed and dealt with in SotNW lol I might just go back to the game again |
