Spot on. I personally don't care if WoW's population increases when TOR comes out. As long as TOR is awesome and the community of course is as well. Who cares?

 Damn, this was the only toss between WoW and this game. Looks like WoW for me then...

WoW already has a big and structured community with plenty of events and game content. Then hearing this makes it even worse, cause at least I don't have to wait another year for WoW.

Blizzard being concerned? NO. Its Blizzard avoiding another sue over another BS suicide. Thats why they have a zero tolerance policy on this kind of stuff. They have to take their finger out of their own ass, and smell the sh*t that they made since WoW's release.

I used to respect Blizzard, before they became a mindless, money raking machine (anti-sue policies are just another measure to make sure the money goes straight in the greedy little asses). Before they started make sh*t game (yes, I mean WoW as it is now) and banning/suspending people for the most utterly ridiculous reasons. They've just about given GM/Moderator powers, to THE most retarded people on the face of the planet.

All they have going for them is WoW, once that dies (and yes it will). They will turn into nothing. Though they will be a pile of nothing with tons of cash.

lol I know what the codenames are, but I was just trying to say you could just say e.g. "Q6000's" or "Q9000's". So allot more people would know what your talking about . And I cant wait for the Octo-Core also , though it will have nearly the same issues in the future as the quad has now where most apps are only optimized to run a max for 4 cores...

I dont think Yorkfield would be much an advantage at all over a kenstfield unless you didnt have to upgrade a motherboard in which case the 10% performance would be worth the little extra cash, but I think you would benefit greatly from a Nehalem. Wrap your mind around that. 4gigs of RAM, SLI 8800GTXs, new chipset mobo, AND now an Octo-Core 45nm CPU. My god thatd be the shit.

IMHO I think Fury still should be crowned a MMORPG, it still is a MMO game with role playing aspects such as progressing your own character, playing key roles in a party/guild, collecting rewards, specs/stats, skills and powers etc. I see what you mean, that it does seem to drift away from the other MMORPG gameplay such as WoW's gameplay system. I guess they are trying to appeal to the action thursty FPS gamers such as me that attempt to get interested into the MMORPG genre yet find that most MMORPG games dont have as much action and control involvement like the FPS games tend to offer.

All in all, Im not down grading your thought/opionion but Im stating that "Fury" seems to be tilting allot more towards the action gamers rather then the traditional RPG gamers that are more interested in the real RP concept of MMORPG games.

I disagree with you completely.  as of now depending on how popular this game will be, thier will be 200+ hobbits running abouts the shire doing quests and hunting  in the wilderness that is against the lore, in tolkiens world hobbit adventurers were a very rare thing.  i believe if there was evil races, it would balance population between character/races/and classes further not only that but create way more content for the playerbase while also creating an roleplaying centeric immersion into the world.

they could easily stop evil characters from entering certain areas, example shire or rivendell areas.

people who cry about not wanting PvP really aggrovate me, because it screws people who want it into the game over, as to even if it was in the game chances are thier is a "middle" faction so players whom dont want to participate or get ganked dont have to.  but imo not having good vs evil hurts the game not only to the point of less customers, but less overall content we will be forced to make alt after alt.  the world of middle earth is so perfect for a Good Vs Evil all out warfare MMO. but im not to upset about it, i think exploring ect will be good enough i just dont kno if this game will be a long-term game playable past the first year.
