I agree with the some aspects of the posts before, but I have to focus on the objective of L2: The game is meant to be hardcore. Hardcore for leveling and hardcore for making adena. So, in my view, it turns the game into a more rewarding experience. That's what I think, that's why I play (basically). So much have been done for low level players, but ,even so, those things didn't change the essence of Lineage. I don't think an auction house could change the economic balance of the game so drastically, but, yes, it could help... It is a very hard subject to write about, so stay ahead of the L2 news, because everything may happen (included nothing |

Hello there, first of all, it's a very weird post of yours. "Is it a good game now?" wasn't it before? Mainly if you had nice time... If you're asking about some changes(note that i'm not talking about "improvements" coz it's a personal issue) in gameplay, the answer is yes. Vitality system, shadow weapons, new instances... this makes some difference, but i think Lineage 2, in its essence, didn't change that much. Of course, I'm not that experienced in L2, former players could give you a better feedback. About new players, I think that there's not much of them, coz in fact if you can find a guild, be supported, you can get A grade real fast. Playing alone in L2 can be very sacrificing. About client installation, try to download from fileplanet, I think it's the best way to download it: http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/lineage2/gracia2/index.aspx There's no difference in client for subs and frees, the game mechanics checks your account status and blocks/enables some minor features. First of all, welcome to L2! The answers you seek(short way): 1) YES. 2) YES. Other way to answer your questions: Lineage 2 doesn't have the common called "Expansion Packs", that in others games are always paid. Actually, they do "expansions" in major updates, like Hellbound, Gracia... And those updates don't have extra cost. Hope I could help. |

According to Lineage 2 Newsletter: "Coming in the near future, we will officially launch the Main/Sub Class Change Paid Service, which will enable you to swap your Main and Sub class at a time of your choosing!" What you guys think about this change? Will it somehow affect the game? Thanks in advance! |

Well, I'm in the same situation... Played wow long ago and now I'm back, and I also have 30ish chars, but wanna start over again... About servers, i really don't know which one to choose. I tried Kargath, but nothing impressive. Looked for guilds in mmorpg "guild search" but no one of them i found interesting. Maybe we try to gather some "new ppl" to come with us to a specific server! About lowbee in WotLK, i don't see much difference: same quests, seems a little easier to lvl up... i recommend to purchase expansion(S) after getting some lvls (lvl 50-60... please correct me if I'm mistaken) Thanks in advance |
