Any MMO game that allows macro-bots is going to have problems... I can't even see how the point can be contested.

Interesting, has the lag issues within the cities been resolved?

I left months ago b/c of it and other issues I had with the game, but I am curious to know if the city lag issues are solved.

Lots of lag in the game though, I enjoy peices of the game, but I doubt it's enough to make me pay for it.

Tried to down this crap three times and deleted it b/c it didn’t work. Download this crap at your own discretion, but be forewarned I won’t use it again, ever.

and for the record, I have used this game on this computer many moons ago. It's not the game, it the file.

It’s interesting to read peoples perspective and motives about this. Without meaning to alienate UserNoName, but he really articulated it well, I choose to hunt players like this. I create hit lists and hunt them down over and over and over again, I do everything in my power to annoy, kill and sabotage anything they are doing or into, short of lying about what I’m doing if asked, whether by him or his guild/clan/friend.

I never hunt newbs, no challenge and it’s detrimental to the game to be honest. I help them from time to time, but I don’t enjoy how they latch onto you like we’ve bonded or something b/c I helped them once. I tend to assist mid-level players more, and just do random acts of kindness, like handing over equipment that’s useless to me to smaller players just b/c I can and I know it’ll help them a lot.

So now we have the care bear, the ganker and the… err, uhm… vindicator?

The Light the Dark and the Gray, makes for an interesting read don’tcha think.

I started playing this game on the weekend and reached level 10. All possible quests have been completed, but since I have yet to subscribe to the game, there are a couple area’s I cannot access and am unable to complete three quests exactly b/c they require you to enter these ‘subscriber’ area’s.

What I’m curious about is if I should continue to collect XP will a new area open up to me or am I pretty much locked into these area’s and unable to grow/explore anymore?

You had me right up until here, “Darkfall will have a first-person camera view.”

Sorry, but first-person camera view games make me queasy. I have tried and tried, half-life, Halo, etc. I play for a short period of time and then I get queasy. I would strongly suggest you give -2-3 camera view options, but it’s your game…
 

I have to say your idea's are really grand and I hope it works, it seems to be attempting a lot of the things I want to see in the next gen MMO.

I seem to be suffering from lag in specific parts in the game.

The Capital, entering into new zones and large groups of players in the same area in the PvP areas.

I am aware this is common, but I was just wondering if anyone else is suffering from this as I don't seem to see many posts about it.

When you guys say 'buy', you mean you purchase the option to put your 'name of choice' for the last name right?

When it started you actually couldn't be a jedi, even though the advertised you could. It wasn't until 6-9 months after release anyone could become a jedi. That's one of the reasons why I left and never went back.

I've been considering trying Cabal for some time now, and I read the earlier post by the guy who didn't like the game, but I was hoping to get a more objective opinion about the games current state.

What times does the new server go live march 25^th? Are we able to transfer old characters to the new server; I assume not, but I figured I should ask just to confirm.

Is there an MMO without a level cap that has PvP?

I can't find any posting about it as yet, but I also can't acess their websites!?

It's a shame if it did go down, was decient in its time and was free now to boot.
