Just keep shoveling food at that troll, they seem to like it. |

Well, with the upcoming patch, the leveling process should be quickened quite a bit. |

Originally posted by googajoob7 It's true WAR doesn't have the depth that WoW has, but if you will recall, WoW wasn't always so deep. WAR is only a few months old, it needs time to get it's legs underneath it. |

I have to admit though, that is one thing the game is lacking. There needs to be some kind of NF implemented with homelands that can be defended. I'm not sure how they will be able to pull it off, but it needs to be done. There also needs to be some RVR dungeons.
As it stands right now, there's no real benifit to owning keeps. Other than the guild that owns the keep geting XP. Owning Keeps in the WAR NF could give stat bonuses and such. This keep increases WS by 2%, this one increases Int by 2%, and so on. Then by capturing the other realms keeps you could increase your stats even more. So in essence bring the NF system from DAoC to WAR. That is probably the aspect of that game that I enjoyed the most. |

I to played the snot out of DAoC, will probably start playing again this summer. The first thing the Devs said about WAR was they were not going to make it DAoC 2. You have to come into the game thinking it's a total new game, and notice some of the DAoC influences. They do make some DAoC references in WAR though. If you are playing Destro and you go to the North East corner of IC, and go into the chaos portal there, you go into the "Winds of Chaos." If you keep going through the portal you will have the chance to visit Cots in the WAR engine. It's pretty neat. Also if you get the chance to play in the Black Fire Basin Scenario, you can see Cetus frozen in the middle of the map. |

You might want to try Runes of Magic. It reminds me a lot of WoW, it has dynamic dungeons (Never the same twice), dual class system (Rogue/Scout for the win) and you can level all the crafting and gathering skill to a limit then you have to choose which to spec in. Graphics arn't half bad either and it's f2p. |

Dwarf Slayers do wear armor. See It's a small picture but the dwarf in the lower left hand corner is a slayer and he looks to be wearing studded leather armor. |

The Dwarf Slayer is all well and good, how about the Greenskin career? I hope they change the name to Berserker or something. I don't like Choppa, it's a weapon type not a career. |

They wear pants don't they? just make the stats on pants really high, with lots of talisman slots. |

So just a pet summoner type character?
Well this is what I have so far, I don't have a class that is exactly like the WoW Warlock: Zu Online- Summoner He summons puppet creatures and casts different types of magic spells.
Requiem: Bloodymare - Dominator Casts basic magic spells, and summons pets to increase the caster's abilities.
Archlord - Elementalist Basic Elemental summoner (haven't really played this game much but they seem pretty gnarly)

I can see where you're coming from, but I seem to be getting a UO vibe to be honest. |

Delayed upgrade to classes that are screaming for it...

They could and 'should' have implemented the changes to the classes I'm talking about. MBJ specifically stated that it would be 'easier' for them to implement 'all' CC changes in a serparate 1.06 patch. I don't care what is 'easier', I care that I'm paying the same subscription as everyone else for a gimped character, that already has deserved adjustments READY AND WAITING - do you understand this simple concept? Pretty much what I said wasn't it? More time = more testing = proper balance = less pissed people (sans you apparently)

Sure, it sucks that they are pushing that patch back a few weeks, but honestly I have survived this long a few more weeks won't kill me. My main is a Magus, and he is leveling up rather quickly. Personally, I would prefer Mythic to their time and get all the variables right so as to not create more problems. |

Go with Requiem. |
