The war broke out after Belgium left. Belgium left and they clashed with each other.

Belgium was affraid to send help in because they could get killed. They send in people to help after the leave, and 10 of their soldiers got slaughtered by the conflict and we pulled out again.

Belgium had nothing to do with the conflict. Congo and Rwanda created that after we left.

Read your history this genocide took place in 1885 to 1912 under belgium rule of the congo.Thats like 50 years before they achieved independence on June 30, 1960 .

I am sorry for the 10 soliders killed in the civil war there after they got independence but its a farcry from the 10 million + massacred during belgian rule.

Why, he is partly right.  Sure, America helped to further screw it up during the Cold War and even now but Belgium, France & England certainly f'ed up Africa well before America got involved.

I'm from Belgium, before you make that comment you might want to read up on some things.

We did a lot of good in Congo tons of help went to there, TODAY, tons of money and medical support goes there.

When a conflict broke out in Congo after it's independance, our soldiers went there to make sure there would be no civil war. 10 soldiers of ours were put to the wall and shot dead by Congo militia. Still the country recieves every help and support it can, both people going there helping medically, freeworkers and soldiers to help stabilise it and make sure people are safe.

Before you ever make such an ignorant comment again, look things up.

It was the US that wanted uranium from Congo and that's why some people were exploited there actually. Read things before you generalise.

I am not going to say my great great grandfather civilized savages and brought order to 1/2 the world.They invaded and colonized and enjoyed the wealth of other nations.They were not knights in shiny armour.

Thats about dead on.The countries that have been killing themselves have one huge problem ,they are all african countries with little or no oil so are worthless in the eyes of the "superpower".

Now if Nigeria ,one of the oil rich countries of africa ,starts a massacre which would halt oil production and sent prices  thru the roof now thats worth "saving".

UO needs and has needed a UO sequel for years.

It has had 3 or so cancelled sequels which makes me think EA have no idea their game is dying and are willing to let the UO franchise die .

The best attempt i think would have been UO2 when lord british was still there.It actually had all the features of UO with real 3D and was a true sequel with few additions such as muskeeters .EA felt it would comrpimise them milking UO and canned it days before beta.

Also to whoever had said something bout Regan he was i think the greatest president of the last 50 years. He got our people back from Iran and got rid of comminiusm in Russia. Over all the republicans have done alot for more this country then the democrats have lately. After all what they do want other then higher taxes on the people with jobs to give money to people to lazy to get them. If you watched Bush's speech every time he talked about tax cuts all the democrats did was frown.

It was Regans star wars system the brought the end of commuinsim as they wasted so much money try to copy it that theirencomny fell apart. Also we are trying to pull out by helping them establish a democratict govt i dont think we do anything but help their military. After all the only ones who hate us are the extermist who are few in number.

 

They never even attempted to build one and rely on rapid spread missles for counteracting enemy ICBM which might i add is the same system they had back in the late 70s and still use that.

If anyone blew money on a star wars project it was the USA .

1m is quite possible for a 4 year old conflict.

Remember most wars death counts are heavily underestimated till the aftermath.

lots are due to sect violence rather then us inflicted  death counts or even sucide bombing.I think the figures of 88k only is not only way too low but actually insulting.

the license in europe is given to to CM and thus i am pretty sure you will find it hard to use a UK version on a usa server.This is pretty much what happened with DAoC.

Unlike SoE or blizzard who have direct control over the US and european market

Ok here the story.Back in may i decided to take the 6 months account.I got billed twice then for £35 x 2  and phoned in.

To be fair the guy on the phone was nice and refunded my money for the extra billing within a week.

In july i sort of stop playing so in october anticpating a second billing i went to cancel my account and did so getting the usual yes/no and in end it told me i still had about 50 days left.

I never logged in after that again and decided to uninstall LOTRO and be done with it.

Now  today i get a bill saying CM have taken another  £35!

I then went to the billing section of LOTRO EU and bam i have an active account yet again!

So in effect their system is recognizing 2 billings for 1 account for me .

Ofc  i phoned and i am told that there is no CSR till 2nd of january.

Be weary guys.I  have played mmorpg since 1998 and never seen such an issue.

Hopefully they will see that i got doubled billed in past and see its their fault

If not then maybe i will take them to small claims court .

Mine was UO and despite the fact i know EQ1 was a better game for me and still respect and love it more,UO has a special place in my heart.

same jedi freaks who pushed LA/SoE to introduce jedis even when the era had only 1 known one,yoda(luke was in training at this time of history and obi wan was dead)  will probably demand to have 1m Maud'Dibs running around i bet.

Now if the developers can stick to their guns and not fold as LA/SoE did they have a good game.

Well lots of people have used the awesome www.mmogchart.com for information on the MMOG market which was created and maintained by SirBruce for many years, however since 2006 SirBruce has not updated the site.

I thought this was a great shame and I have tried to contact SirBruce many times over the last 2 months to see if I could take over the site and maintain the data, I emailed, put posts on forums, even phone calls and contacted other people within the industry but just could not get hold of SirBruce so I have decided to create a new site (http://www.mmogdata.com) and continue his work.

I cannot stress that I would much prefer SirBruce to get into touch and we work together on this and that I am using the data as at 20th May 2007 to form the basis of www.mmogdata.com

Well tbh i take this chart to be inaccurate .

Fact- mmorpg companies rarely give out the numbers.Only blizzard does because they are top of it and can boast.Pretty much like SoE could boast in 2001 with EQ.

Rest hide their numbers.Only one chart ever proved its accuracy that was sirbruce original chart because he broke news on 2 game numbers which later got confirmed.After that his own charts went totally inaccurate and even sirbruce posted here he "lost touch" and might be why he stopped publishing numbers not to feed inaccurate information.

Now here is a site which clearly lacks sirbruce old connections (aka inside information),clearly just supped up his last chart and clearly stats  they used his last chart(as i suspected initally) which i can say was not one of his masterpieces.

Nah sorry but until we get someone with a more solid inside scoop like sirbruce once had ,all this charts are bleh

I have to agree with this.

Thing is ,all other mmo who use ingame cash for real give free downloads and are in much better shape then this game.

They rely afterwards on people spending $$$ to buy ingame money.

But when you must buy the software and see the horrible state it is in(at least when i played) you feel cheated.

well can't say if you are a fanboy or not since on this account you have only been registered few weeks and 2/3 posts is a thumbs up for RV.

But really fanboy or not its good you like the game .But for me after 3  installs and re-installs the desire to do it a 4th time is more or less dead now.

Maybe they should make a free trial on a test server or something to get new blood in.They lack money for ads and have gained a horrible reputation ,so its quite unlikely that pure word of mouth will bring new people into the game since they have to buy the software.

And lets face it after the inital phase of fanboys who swept all the problems this game had and painted a eutopia of this game,very few people on this site will get the game on word of mouth without a free trial.

But for those who bought the game and uninstalled it and have more willpower then me then maybe reinstall it and see if its improved.

my wife(yep it happened finally) patched on the first day of RoK in under  30 mins and thats heavy traffic.

Seems to be a problem from your side .
