Sorry but this is purely GOA fault  .He did all the right things and then GOA failing system deals him the fatal blow.

Note there is not a single european happy with GOA at all and EA needs to grab the game back from them before this amateurs ruin the game for EA.

It's quite obvious from my posts on this board that I'm a fan of Palin, but I never expected her to have this much impact on America.  Forget politics, I'm talking about popular culture.  All of a sudden, she's everywhere.  I can't log onto youtube without more videos of her popping up than Miley Cyrus.  The news can't stop covering her.  They are reporting that girls want to know what kind of glasses she wears so they can get the same kind, and that they are getting their hair styled like Palin's.  It's even been reported that half of Oprah's staff wants to have Sarah on her show even though Oprah is an Obama supporter and is adamantly against it.

As a Palin supporter, part of me thinks this is great, but it also makes me a little uneasy.  After all, McCain has been criticizing Obama for being too much of a celebrity.  How is he going handle a running mate who is as much of a star or even a bigger one?  Not only that, but she is at the bottom of the ticket.  Couldn't it create problems for McCain if he is overshadowed by the VP candidate?

Regardless of what happens, I am very satisified that the media took it on the chin after attacking Sarah.  After Wednesday, it tucked its tail between its legs and today is licking its wounds.

People actually support this woman?Have you actually read her ideas?

48XX series are both wonderful cards and probably won outright this current generation of war of the Graphics cards.

Mind you this is the first time since the old ati 9XXX series to actually come on top of the graphics battle so don't think nvidia is beaten in any form they had the king of cards for like a few years.

But as things stands ATI 48XX is the way to go but heck i just won the geforce 8800 so not complaining at all about nvidia lol

personally i doubt you will notice  any difference in performance upgrading past 2gb for WAR.

If you want more fps and a smoother play then i suggest getting a ati 4850 which is an incredibly cheap card for amazing performance above a 9800

What good is the extra 2gb of memory going to do in XP?

At best you MAY be able to get it to utilise 3gb with the /3gb switch but i've never seen the benefit in XP or it register the full 3gb.

3gigs is tops for xp. Hell 3 gigs is top for anything but 64bit vista.

Everyone says get 4 gigs with vista but 32 really doesnt fully support more than 3.

I was running on vista 64 with 4gb and then i took out 1 stick to donate to another pc and have 3gb in that system now thinking i get another 1gb later but you know what i am yet to see a single game that actually even needs that extra 1 gb so i am not bothering to waste my money(even if its dead cheap) or opening the pc to add another stick till i see it and yes i played age of conan which is probably the highest demanding mmorpg out there and doubt WAR will even be near as demanding

Someone described Palin as a old fashioned hillbilly wife and honestly the little she said makes me feel this way.

She is quite ignorant and really no shocker Mccain would pick such a person

look at some of her views

Abortion - In 2002, while running for lieutenant governor, Palin called herself as "pro-life as any candidate can be."[39] She opposes abortion for rape and incest victims, supporting it only in cases where the mother's life is in danger,[105] and suggested that requiring parental consent for abortions be added to Alaska's constitution.[106] Palin does support contraception, and is a member of Feminists for Life.[39][107]

ANWR drilling - Palin has strongly promoted oil and natural gas resource development in Alaska, including opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to drilling.[49]

Yeeha drill the nature away!!!

Capital Punishment - Palin favors capital punishment. She has stated that: "If the legislature passed a death penalty law, I would sign it. We have a right to know that someone who rapes and murders a child or kills an innocent person in a drive-by shooting will never be able to do that again."[108]

Lets play god

Creationism and Evolution - In a televised debate in 2006, Palin said she supported teaching both creationism and evolution in public schools. She clarified her position the next day, saying that if a debate of alternative views arose in class she would not prohibit its discussion. She added that she would not push the state Board of Education to add creation-based alternatives to the state's required curriculum.[109]

Global Warming - Palin does not believe that global warming is human-caused.[52]

LOL ignorance is priceless but dangerous when an ignorant person is given power

Guns - Palin, a long-time member of the National Rifle Association, strongly supports its interpretation of the Second Amendment as protecting individual rights to bear arms, including handguns. She also supports gun safety education for youth.[110]

More yeehhaaa ride them cowgirl

Marijuana - Palin opposes the legalization of marijuana in Alaska, stating concerns about the message re-legalization would send to her children. She has smoked marijuana in the past.[39]

I did it so i know!!!!

Same-Sex Marriage - Palin opposes same-sex marriage[39] and supported a non-binding referendum for a constitutional amendment to deny state health benefits to same-sex couples.[111] Palin has stated that she supported the 1998 constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage.[39]

Sex Education - Palin is a "firm supporter of abstinence-only education in schools" according to CNN in 2006.[112] When running for governor in 2006, Palin wrote, "Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support," in response to a questionnaire by the Eagle Forum Alaska.[113][114]

Too bad she was so busy preaching to everyone this and forgot to close her own daughter's legs

Terrorism and Iraq - Palin's foreign policy positions were unclear at the time she was picked as McCain's running mate.[115] Shortly after she became governor in December 2006, the Alaska Business Monthly asked Palin for her views about troop escalations in Iraq. She replied "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq. I heard on the news about the new deployments, and while I support our president, Condoleezza Rice and the administration, I want to know that we have an exit plan in place…"[116][117] She has said she supports President Bush's idea of stopping terrorism "by taking the fight to the terrorists".[75][115] Palin has also tied the war to the quest for new energy supplies, saying, "We are a nation at war and in many [ways] the reasons for war are fights over energy sources, which is nonsensical when you consider that domestically we have the supplies ready to go."[118]

At least she is woman enough to know the war is about oil

Wildlife conservation - Palin opposed federal listing of the polar bear as an endangered species on the grounds that the "population has dramatically increased over 30 years as a result of conservation,"[119] and supported a controversial predator-control program involving aerial hunting of wolves to increase moose populations for hunters.[120

Aerial hunting of wolves?Too much petrol to burn i see in alaska. And maybe she needs to learn that because a population of polar bears increases in a short term is no grounds to just remove them from the list .

To Quote you "LOL ignorance is priceless but dangerous when an ignorant person is given power" Some times i hate the Internet...

Ok now i fully understand that many companies took customer services abroad to cut cost but for god sakes please train them at least.

For instance now i will never ever buy a dell laptop again.Machine is fine but i had so much hassle from them due to poorly trained staff in India.

I got doubled billed because some girl could not figure out how to get a transaction thru over the phone and needed to wait for the supervisor and then the order got missing and i had to re order it again at their request and got 2 laptops arrive.

Another thing is they lie and omg can they lie.If something goes wrong they deny and deny .

Also they are so poorly trained .I will forever remember when my virgin broadband went off  due to vandals and we saw them crack the box. Many phoned in to tell them that the cable was off due to vandals and the guys in CSR actually suggested we first try to unplug our modems .

They don't listen and just read off some 1 page paper they have .If it aren't in that 1 page paper the problem does not exist

Train them well or bring back the CSR to people who know their job

Flying Lab failed with their opportunity at making a historical based Pirate MMOG with PotBS because they didn't stay true to the realism factor of a large sailing world which should take time to travel in and a Caribbean where trade abd exploration played a major factor. Instead they released a WoWified Pirate game with instaporting and super speedy travel which made the game world very small with a limited  economy based on NPC purchases and sales of goods and materials without harvesting or real crafting.

Agreed sadly this is the state of the industry.WoW  based their model on the most successful mmorpg at that time -EQ and now all mmorpg are basing their mmorpg on the current champion WoW.If WAR breaks the new record then it too will be the model for all mmorpg .

But all we will be having are revised versions of EQ and it will be a vicious cycle .

I would a change honestly .

Not that i think Obama has much to offer really but when you put him against Mccain and Palin you wonder how the heck can anyone elect those 2 over Obama.

Obama is no saviour but when you think of Mccain/Palin in power you got to be scared for sure.

Even this scandal of her daughter that people play down is worth looking into.Lets face it if she preaches abstinence-only education in schools and can't keep her own teenage daughter's leg close how can you expect her to lead a nation into what she so firmly believes in?

Sorry but for me the more i see McCain make decisions the worse things look.

And Obama is just been smart. The more he defends Palin's scandal the better and more holy he looks.Good politics there because he knows in the back of many people's mind the word "clean your own house before telling others to clean theirs " is firmly ringing in the case of Palin

Just a hypothetical. With all the news about Russia-Georgia, Iran building Nuclear enrichment factories, China and human rights, etc., I started to think about what WWIII would look like.
Here's my guess on the sides, mostly using the major powers from WWII:
Side 1:
US, England, Japan, Australia, India, South Korea, Isreal
Side 2:
Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan
Wildcards(not sure which side these would end up on, if any):
Iraq, France, Spain, Germany, Afghanistan
Thinking the West Coast would get nuked, or we would at least see some fighting on American soil. Would give me an excuse to buy one of these. Not sure we would nuke another country again though... I think Side 1 would eventually win with Side 2 countries becoming more liberated.
Not that I think this would really happen either...
[Edit] I think the UN and the European Union would fall apart also.

Why the heck will japan side with USA?

And you got to be kidding thinking India will .
You are mistaking economics with politics.India  does not think well of the USA at all .Ever spoken to an Indian?
And not only will the west coast get nuked but every city in the USA.Go read (i keep telling people this but clearly google is a hard tool) on Russian nuclear subs which can hit 200 targets in a single salvo over 10,000 km+ per sub and they got quite a few of this monsters. No city or town will be spared and this is even without a launch from Russian soil .
Same will happen everywhere .So even who is one which side has no purpose.Just make sure you elect a level headed president in the US .8 years of Bush has driven the world to drink
Fact is they(japan, china, india) need USA to trade but in a nuclear war who the heck cares if you buy their radioactive crops?

Why not? They are our allies after all, have been more so than the European countries I put as wildcards IMO, though Europe seems to be turning around. Plus I think China might make a grab for power, in which case Japan would naturally side with the US.

Actually I'm in charge of a team of 10+ Indians and they all love the US, as a matter of fact one of them left the team to go study CS in Texas. And we regularly sponsered one person from India to come to the US for years. Have you ever talked to an Indian? Or are you just going by what you see on the news?

Make no mistake though war always has an economic component, you could argue thats the entire reason for war, though I think its more than that. India and Pakistan have a history of border disputes. And of the two, assuming they get involved on opposite sides, I think India would side with the US.

I can kind of tell what your thoughts are on the US by your snide comments, but please tell me what you think of this country. And try not to reply with insults, it just makes you look like an amateur.

We where hearing about Russia's incredible advances in technology over the US all during the Cold War, and when it was over, guess what? I turned out to be a bunch of crap. Using nukes in all out warfare means mutually assured destruction, yes , so it doesn't really matter if Russia can hit 200+ targets 10,000 km+ away, this would ensure that at the very least we'd all be screwed. Have you ever seen Dr. Strangelove?

Anyway, I don't buy the whole nuclear holocaust thing, maybe some nukes will go off, but what would a country gain from destroying half the planet? This is also about political power after all, and that involves power over people, if there are no people there is no power. If nukes do go off though, I think it would be triggered by Iran or Isreal.

Of course this is all opinion, and I don't care that you disagree with me, that's what debate is about. Just don't reply like I'm an idiot.

Don't want this to turn into another election thread but who do you think we should elect?

look where i live dude by clicking profile.

largest minorities here are Indians/parkistani

And launching a nuclear bomb is madness ,thus if even one side launches 1 then all the nukes they got with be volleyed to ensure that no side wins or survives to tell the tale.

Thats the reality of the war.Do you honestly think USA will launch 1 nuke and Russia 1 nuke and then say "ok lets use troops to fight this".Heck no they just volley it all and let god judge us.That is how a nuclear war will be fought and i dare you to find a single General or president who thinks otherwise.

So there be no economy ,no towns ,nothing but a few survivors mostly in australia and distant lands picking up the pieces.Any country that picks a side will get nuked hard .Even neutral countries near the fall out will suffer badly.

Alliegence will be based totally on politcal views and not economy because no side involved in a nuclear war will have a economy to trade with after.

Anyhow hopefully both sides are too smart to let this happen.

I dunno who USA should elect but i think obama might want to focus on the economy and do a bill clinton by trying to make us all friends which to be honest is what we really need now.

I think what annoys so many is the fact that Georgians were armed and trained and prepared for war for years and the Russians crippled them in a few days .

Then we got Iraq which is what 5 years on ?

Maybe rather then Bush screaming and all ,he should secretly ask the Russians to train the USA generals about warfare because it seems the brainpower sits in moscow miltary schools

i'd like to see how big georgians military is .... Iraq was in the top 5 for biggest military in the world. And not to mention Iraq is bigger then Georgia.

Was is the word. The gulf war left the Iraqi army poorly equipped and demoralized. The georgian army on the other hand started off with good gear and high morale.Ofc 5 days that has all changed.

you didnt answer my question

You did not even ask a question to start with so nothing to answer just to comment back on.
