well i am using this baby for age of conan and it runs it full setting comfortably and even after 3 hours run it still is stable.I am using stock cooling .

Also i have read around and seems that people are worried because it gets to 70 C.But reports i read is that this card is still super stable at that temp.

Maybe it actually does not need to run as cool as previous cards!After all lets face it  so many reputable companies are shipping it with stock cooling and if it was a issue then i highly doubt they will at all because all this cards come with 1 year + warranty.Last thing they want is to have so many returns due to heat damage and considering how well the card sold then i think its a fair bet if there was a serious heating issue this companies will lose hell of a lot  of money.

I seriously doubt there is only 70k active subs in age of conan.

Those forms you are talking about are called equal opportunity forms and there is always an option for white/african,asian etc and at end of it given a open option as others.

Firstly you are totally paraphrasing .Secondly can you explain why you referred to him as black before and not a mixed race?

I say what many refuse or don't want to say.Obama will lose because for a majority of people he is "off color".

As someone married to a half white/half black girl i see it everyday.She is called by ALL but her family black.

And notice how everyone refers to obama as the "black candidate".

Now explain to me how can someone be 50% black and 50% white yet always referred to as black.

It shows how most people wish to ignore his roots and fear to point to anything in a colored man as white despite he is as much black as he is white.

Seems the AoC engine just sort of picks who it wants.You have people with 8800gts running max setting and then you have people with same card crashing and lagging on medium setting.

Obama might not have much political experience and might not have been in some international commitee but when he travels he always tries to connect with the people and will certainly never make such a blunder as McCain did.

If McCain cannot even tell who the president of Russia is then what hope is there?Surely the country with more nukes then the USA should be well known to a presidential candidate .And how does it help to insult the ex-president and now prime minster of Russia ?It only causes stupid tension.

Even H.Clinton despite been more knowledgeable seems to have same confrontational views like McCain only to a lesser degree.

Sad fact is unlike the Reagan times ,it does not gain support in europe to bash Russia nowadays.

Thats a painful lesson Gordon Brown just learnt .When he started the diplomatic row with Russia ,the polls showed UK citizens cared less for this and would rather see improved relationship with Russia .Might explain why he quickly went quiet espically with his polls at a low now.

McCain also spells bad news for international trade and politics.

In a global market which USA is quickly becoming more of a consumer market rather then a producer there is a real risk of a economical meltdown if he comes into  power.

Believe it or not when you pass the age of 30 life priority starts to change.That woman you date for ages want to get married,get a car,house ,kids etc etc.

Despite me and the woman bring in a combined income of six figures ,its not feasible for me like before to run around and dump $2000 just because one game cannot play it.

And even at that many are having issues with nice rigs.I have a 8800gts(part of the deal with the wife to let me have a new pc each 2 years) and still performance it poor.

And yes many like me don't want a wow clone and are happy FC went a different route but we wanted a different gameplay with ok graphics.Not a system hog game filled with memory leaks.

The lesson here is don't get whipped by your missus

VG not only had horrible performance, it also had major gaming killing bugs, an unfinished landscape, terribly written "story lines", completely generic quest lines, and a HUGE world that just felt totally dead. So far I haven't encountered anything game killing about any bugs I've experienced in AoC, the storyline is well written and intriguing, the quests are fun, and most importantly the world feels Alive and lived in.

Now with AoC it runs far worse.

So guess each to his own.You have zero issues with AoC but plenty with VG at launch .I am having direct opposite but mind you maybe some mircale will happen at AoC launch.

And actually the skill based games i played SWG pre CU and UO you can max out the skills faster then most level based games you could max levels.

So thats not a valid point.

Reason developers make level based game is because the execs feel this will make the most successful games .Look at mmorpg history EQ1 was top for ages and was level based.WoW took over level based too.

Personally i like the freedom of skill based .Only sad part is soon everyone finds that killer template and everyone uses it .So you have a server of 80% mage/tank  or something.

Well only plus this game has is it will probably run for a while.

The devs are mostly part timers and thus run it as a side project.No matter if they don't even code anymore there will still be at least 50 actively playing it as they are now kings of some mmorpg.

Each time they need money they can just cry that they have no money to run the game and this 50 will donate via VERM $100 which is easy $5k

Honestly i think RV is the biggest mmorpg con ever next to DnL.They easily made $300k from selling a game which is in same league like DnL.

Their marketing was also brillant and probably explained inital sales despite it getting horrible reviews.

Buy once and never have to pay monthly sub.This was very attractive to quite a few and ofc then they saw why.

Best pray noone shoots Obama as i will join the countless others to dig out this topic and post it to the people who might find it intresting.

While not over the top this is still a high specs system and way higher then what the average joe uses.

And still you had to twink the data to get performance.

So basically the game is alienating those who have not bought a new G.card in last 1 year(9 and 8 series),those who have them and not met other conditions ie newer processors,more RAM,those who have them but not willing to take a crash course in twinking wih the game data and then those who have the system willing to twink and STILL nothing works for them.

This is ofc all just on technical side  for those who actually will buy it because they think the game is fun and don't mind loading times.

Seems a pretty gamble to me for funcom.But the first month will be the prove .If they can have a smooth luanch and iron out the bugs to make the game playable they might still have a successful game here.
