Yep, there is no 100% secure anything on a computer when internet gets involved. Just look at those fighter games that had locked content opened up early...fact is you can't trust everyone to be honest. |

Ultima Online - Logged in for the first time and was in shock and awe at the sheer amount of things to accomplish, and oddly enough it had nothing to do with rushing to endgame for wicked loot. |

Dark Legends: Our Official Dark Legends Review
News Discussion « General Discussion 5/14/12 1:38:50 AM
This is an aweful game, not an mmorpg, and its disgusting that it has a review, and that the review scores it as anything above a 3...can't go any lower simply because at the least the game is UNFORTUNATELY playable. |

Team Diablo III, Torchlight 2 or Path of Exile?

Diablo 3...no contest. |

Ahhh this site is terribly childish. No matter how much you (the minority) harp, Diablo 3 will be a hit, and Blizzard wil continue to succeed. Can we quit with the endless threads about how you could have done everything in the game world better then they did. This is now to the point of being annoying and stupid. |

I was very happy with the beta! I know a lot of people complain about the customization being a reat deal less, but let us be honest, there really wasnt that much customization in the other diablo games. So what you dont have stat points to place every level, big whoop, everyone did the same stat set up for every class anyways...so was kind of a pointless task, the talent trees were a disaster as everyone did the same couple of builds, and all those points were just there as filler to get to the good talents. Now you have skills that you use throughout the game and with runes you cancustomize them to your style or your groups needs. The animations were solid, the graphics are what i expected as everyone knows blizzard makes games playable across a broader range of PC's. It was non stop action and looting. They have changed up a few things so that you cant just blaze through a group of enemies its not all about mowing monsters down, quite a few times when i forgot to actually play mindful of my character limits and skills i got my butt handed to me, something that never happend in the other games, and it wasnt like OH i died because i ran out of health potions, i knew i died because i hadnt used my char skills properly. SOOOOOO that being said, a much better Diablo, much better gameplay, requires some char knowledge and thinking, and runes and skills allow for some different tactics, AND the ability to change them as your style or tastes change...pretty dang sweet if you ask me! |

Very happy you enjoy, cant wait to see you in EVE. One thing to remember about this game is that EVERY ship has a purpose and place, and learning the skills necessary to play the ship well is key to this game, its not as simple as bigger is better. Dig in skill up, and get a good corp. Also, however you start out (ship, race, etc..) remember you can skill into whatever you like, there are no limits, so find a play style that fits you, and dont ignore any ships, you dont have to only play a frigate, or a Heavy Assault Cruiser, or a Battleship...use and play them all to the most effectiveness. Also, read into things, there are ships for SOOOO many diferent play styles. Beyond that find out what the corp needs, and find out where you fit in in fleet battles, missions, and pvp...you will play better and be happier when your doing what you do best, and your corp will love you for your skill and contribution. |

As a retired WoW player (since 2008 or before), would you come back for Cata?

HAHA would love to come back if my account had not been hacked into a oblivion and I simply called Blizz and had them delete the account from their databases. Way to GO for security. |

Looks a lot like Titan Quest to me. I still don't see what everyone hates about D3 art direction....a game doesn't have to look grainy to be a dark action game. Just saying.... |

Originally posted by Hotjazz Umm if you only level off goblins, because you can, and because it seems the most simple, than that is YOUR choice. That does not mean someone has to play the game that way. You also DONT have to play for 5-6 hours to enjoy this game, nor do you have to be a top tier PVPer to enjoy this game. Just log in work some sword, crafting, magic, building etc...until you have to go do other stuff, and just enjoy what the game has to offer, a different type of world to mess around in. OH and wander out past the starter area and kill things other than goblins...amazing idea i know...but no everyone is looks at a game as a race to the finish. Gotta learn to sit back and chill, and just enjoy the world that the dev's have created to play in. |

Happy you found them as helpful as i did! My two brothers had the same experience, once they watched the videos they enjoyed the game. Also a good point...if you come across a new player that seems lost and needs some help or direction, point them in the direction of the helper videos. These videos have the potential to bring in many new players, and help retain more of those trial accounts. Good Luck All in DF! |
