I got the G74sx before the G55 or G75 came out. and i have no problems with games and such.

G55 specs are alittle higher  the the G74sx .

if weight is a consern then get the G55. G74sx is heavy after a few with travel. 4.28kg  (G74sx) compared to 3.8kg (G55)

Performance i dont think you will have a problem with either one. I use mine mostly for Autocad for work and regular gaming.

Game wise i run everything at max settings and dont see a problem with any game i throw at it.

the only thing i dont like about the G74sx is real raid system in it. So cant do a Raid with 2x 240gb ssd in it.

that is what any smart, wise costumer  would do.   

or you can wait a week or 2 after the game gets released,  and ask people you know personally,  friends, relatives, etc for a review.  since they are usually the ones who share similar gaming interests with you.

Im gonna do what i do for most MMOs i have been waiting for. Buy it try it for the month and if im still playing it after that first month or have settled on a character then they will get another month out of me if not then i cancel and go with another.

for the price i get my moneys worth in that month so i dont mind helping the Devs on making some extra money.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft, Yahoo, and Google will have a problem with this. Being search engines they will get affected the most. They spend millions + millions on monitoring there web links people search on.

Was wondering if this website is going to join the website REDDIT in going dark on January 18th from 8am EST to 8pm.

Well lets face it this site being a gaming forum site has any links to copyrighted material can make this site lose its domain name and the IP added to the blacklist. 

Im just wondering what does free to play mean?

Does it mean i can log in without paying any money and play the game to get a feel for it or is it i can play all content with no money? 

They do give limited stuff for free players but that also says you can pay a one time fee to get stuff with out putting more money on it. etc. Architech, server transfers and inventions. 

and if you ever had a account and bought 1 month you are premium account holder which give you alittle more then someone joining day 1

I do think the idea is nice and having a VIP server is nice as well, but only time will tell if it goes well or not. 

This could be the new beginning or the final nail in the coffin for CoX.

Well reguardless on how the servers run, from all other MMOs we all know how bad servers are in the first week. Hell even more so in the future months.

I would rather them work on the problems then have someone tell us what is going on all the time.

and its the weekend they are probably on  a graveyard shift.

S**t happens and we know with a new MMO it will happen alot.

Arkham Aslyum's combat was polished. Combat in this game is twitchy as shit with flies on it. (I don't mean twitchy in an FPS way, I mean the animations are twitchy, bad, and bugged).

Lienhart your QQ for really no reason. The questing is like WoW big deal, almost all MMOs are made this way. Combat your comparing to a single player game.

Combat maybe alittle bit twitchy and bugged but you have to put in account that you have to make it server wide so everyone can see it, not on your own pc.

Yah like to see them get the game to 360. Then maybe Champions and AoC can take notes on how to deal with Microsoft.

The difference with CoH/CO and DC basicly Cryptic vs. Sony

Power sets/Skill powers - CoH has 2 powersets for each toon to start. you cant change them after making the toon. (respecing in the same power set though) DC is the same way. CO you can remake your toon anyway anytime which is nice.

DCs six power sets that can go 2 different ways

lvl 10 you get access to iconic powers can respec when you get access to Icon powers and just use icon powers. Then you have Skills melee and Movement.

Movement powers arent just for moving they have actual powers unlike CoH and CO. and remember CoH hasnt updated their travel powers yet. CO travels are mostly the same.

Control - CoH i dont like the normal control of MMOs. On DCU I like controls when using Xbox 360 controller, never got use to Keyboard/mouse.

Price - here it is normal price nothing to really get mad at.

Action bar -  CoH/CO clicking with a mouse like normal MMOs, the control on DC is more in actiony

Content -  CoH has a ton more but been out for 6yrs. DC has about as much as CoH release. We arent gonna talk about CO on that.

Costume Customization - Cryptic started doing that first and on release forgot about the rest of the game. DC started with the Game then went to the custom.  DC does need more costume options. I did notice in game when you select the tailoring icon you have a spot for Facial hair. might be planned on seperating hair and facial hair in the future. wish they had more then just 3 models. maybe like a body type like the Flash/Supergirl, making it 4 different types.

Crafting - CoH isnt to bad still have to farm for recipes like you do for armor and CO has crafting that sucks (no real experience with that). DC has none.

Graphics - this is just a opinion. but with the Graphic update with CoH i liked but DC is more pleasing to the eye.  CO looks like a disney cartoon. But i dont like how DC doesnt give you much of a chose on how much detail you want to put in it.

Story - Good luck on better DCU with story.

I like the fact that DC has armor in it and you can change your toon on the fly. no tailoring shop. and with the arguement with i dont want superman armor cause i want my own hero. that is kinda weird considering that you (your toon) is in the DC Universe and was once a normal human and i could see that most would look up to the iconic heroes and would like to be one of them.

DC actually had Super Speed that you can run up the walls. CoH had it in alpha and beta but took it out . Champions at one point had the idea that they can use super speed running up walls and all but pulled it out before beta.

Champions had plans to have armor similar to DC having it but pulled that idea as well. (i just remember reading it on forums when champions was about to go beta)

Now if they release with what they got im fine with it as long as they dont change it on release date (like CO did) but they would have to fix alot within the first month. I remember CoH being laggy and bugs in it on release, not to bad now. still got alot lag/bugs when the new expansion was released. Hell even WoW has lag with just a expansion and the lag was bad on release ( not none playable bad but bad).

i did like it on PC over PS3 (might be cause my tv sucks) but when compared with 2 same monitors PC looked better.

I have both Betas and i hooked the PS3 to my second monitor and the PC still looks aton better then PS3.

but if you dont have a good computer i would agree PS3 all the way . If your PC can play it at full graphics PC is the best choose.

If both look the same then look at where you want to sit . In a computer chair or a sofa.

Xbox 360 controller works well . for wireless get the USB reciever.

After what i have seen in WoW with this new update im not impressed. Anyone say Easy mode. I think my daughter can play WoW.

I find it that Developers spend more time on female characters then male. I have played alot of MMOs and i find it that the females are modelled better then the male characters.

For instance the Male humans in WoW. Why do they have forearms like popeye. So for little reasons like that i play females cause in most game (not all) they are modelled and animated better.

I had a 360 it burned out so i ended up getting the PS3 . Gotta love those blu ray movies.

with the new 360 out im thinking of getting that system again. I had both systems and really didnt see a major change . well only that PS3 is actually getting MMOs on their system .

I read some where or heard them say in a video that the Green Lanterns are gonna be a expansion or update. They will have Yellow for Villians. Now if that comes out or not... not to sure.

There was mention about not having to show the armor you have collected and for everyone to see your orginal costume, but still keep the stats of the armor. Might be for the Iconic sets.

But who knows im just waiting for the game to come out.

Co really only has 7 travel powers

Teleport

Jump - normal and Rocket Boots

Fly - Ice, earth, fire, Jet boots, Hover disc and normal

Swing

Tunneling

Super Speed

Acrobatics - of course this is a mixture between Super Speed and Super Jump

for powers i seen from the videos that if you do pick a fire power set you still can pick a melee weapon

heard somewhere that you can charge your weapon with powers like Fire. Could be cool.

DCUO Travel powers are sounding to be alot better then CO or CoX. Like you can put talents or something of that order and use them as a attack.

Super speed can go on walls and Ceilings. Acrobatics can swing and cling on walls.
