So looks like the poll has us split down the middle (50% good, 50% bad)
Need more votes to get a true reflection.

I also use MSN Messenger because all my use it and it allows you to link to other messenging programs (I'm not sure how but I've seen it working with Yahoo! messenger).

It's a nice idea but I think has more against it than for it.

Vote on whether you think it is a good or bad feature.

I agree with DawnTreader.

I think it will be a bad thing. Firstly since you are able to keep your AIM username millions of usernames will be taken already so we'll be left with the likes of "Trinity110412"

I like the idea of being able to chat with your clan even if you can't make it into the matrix game (e.g. at work or a internet cafe), but users of AIM will testify that the messaging service already gets a lot of spam and to have to put up with that in game can be annoying.

e.g.
KeyPad is about to unleash a deadly combo of blows but wait AIM pops up with a message from Foxy_Lady27: Checkout my webcam at www.wasteoftime.com
KeyPad adds Foxy_Lady27 to his block list only to discover that he has been beaten to a pulp while chatting.
