it kinda seems liek restarting launcher is helping because it starts off by saying 18 minutes, however it climbs rapidly after it gets to the point where it was stuck before. |

my speed is 3.9 megabites per second, or 1632 Kbps ive left it on for about an hour after restarting it once and now its saying 4 hours

I bought game via the Direct 2 Drive website. It took maybe 5 hours to download. I finally downloaded and install client. I open up client and start to patch it takes about 20 minutes to get the initial patch going after that the real patch starts and the time is saying 14+ hours to patch. Wondering if anyone else experienced this problem or this is just me? I have a pretty good computer and a Cable modem connection. Patching has never taken this long for anyother game. Wow didnt even take half the time it took for me to install the client. I am starting to get down and think that i made a mistake. Anyone have any tips to speeding up this patch, thanks. |

just to clarify, so i can keep my trial account and upgrade it to full sub and get the 30 days free john you also posted here http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/136224 the direct 2 drive all in 1 pack that gives me a free 30 days aswell? I guess wat im trying to ask is does the free 30 days include trial accounts already pre existing because the site says for all new accounts, would i have to make a new account? |

yea i found that sticky after i posted :P ok but i still have a question buying retail box gives you first month free? does buying an all in one pack through direct 2 drive still give you the first month free? |

Yea, im in the same boat as you. I actually downloaded and tested the trial of the isle version and i loved it and would like to continue. So many expansions tho I am not sure which to buy. Should I buy original first then get expansions, or get latest expansion and that will have most of new content. And do each expansion create new storylines therefore creating a new continent for players to play on like GW. I am just totally confused. Can someone help me out and clearify this for me? Thanks |

I am totally new been doing alot of research into the game, read alot of documents. I was wondering about this inctence system. never played a game like that before not sure if i would like it so i am asking anyone that is willing to give me a trial key so that i can test out the game please :) does this trial key only work for guild wars prophecies or does it include the new expansions? thanks! hopefully ill become a fellow gamer. -Komfort |
