no it's just the same people who dislike every game.  They are pretty active on forums so you'll see them crying about the next game they burn through.  I think it's like a junky trying to get it's next fixes. Once they burn it, they burn it on the forums which is another crack to them.  Not all people are like that but most of the vocal ones are.

Guild Wars isnt an MMO. 

Not trying to be mean or anything but you are by definition wrong.  I guess if you don't listen to facts or logic, you could say GW is not an MMO.  Anyway, just helping you out so next time you'll not make that mistake, by definition of mmo.

me too, i had a blast with the game.  Although it wasn't my thing... I just didn't get into it enough but it was fun none the less.  I may go back some day not too soon... bloody busy enough atm.

I hope they make KOTOR online, that game would rock.  There is so much they could do with that universe.

Wow, I'm not sure what your problem is....  I apologize for suggesting your computer wasn't good enough, I wasn't commenting on your system, I was merely suggesting that Nvidia paid royalties that make the game optimized for Nvidia cards...  I'm sure your computer is the best thing out there, and everyone should hope to measure up to your worth someday.  Get over yourself Mr. Dev..
 

I asked if you had benchmarks, Airy.  If you are apologizing for getting all emotion on me, I'll except that.  That's true Nvidia pays royalties but that doesn't make them a better card.  I guess what you should understand is if you help someone you should back up what you are saying.  Telling them to go Nvidia just b/c they pay royalties is pretty silly reason to pick that card.  You have to think about cost and the fact right now ATI has a better product. 

 In the future, Nvidia may take the cake again but I'm only reporting on what has been tested on a number of hardware sites.  Of course, getting all emotional is fine by me.. I guess you are right about one thing I do feel pretty sure of myself so your comments just make me laugh.

Will it run smooth on Med with a lower Processor on MED settings or any lower settings?

If you can efford the 4850 ATI it rocks.  I have AMD 4600 X2 4 gigs , 4850 and I'm running with MSAA x2 , bloom and most settings on high.

You do realize no one reads these forums unless they are a vet. or a total geek.  Just because you emo'd all over the forums doesn't mean they changed anything.  The only thing that makes companies do anything is money.  Just look at NGE, did they change it back? Anyway, I'd stay away from the game, in my opinion, at least for a few months.  It has a lot of bugs at higher levels. (that is if you level up pretty quickly)

The biggest one I see, however, is that even if everything was working as the devs intended, I would still not play the game.  It's just too linear but really what game isn't.  I've played some single player games that are more complex but in the end they are still pretty linear.  I'm kind of sounding like tool right now so I'll just stuff it. Matter of fact, good deal of people are enjoying the game so this is all just my opinion.

In the end read the reviews and remember it's 50 dollars not a new house purchase.

This game "feels" very much like what Diablo 2 would be if it were set in a post-apocalyptic future and had  a 1st person view feature.

Im having a blast. Nothing says "fun" like mowing down a horde of demons and undead monsters with a heavily modified fire-slinging rifle of death while your little bot army follows you around, helping out here and there.

I got over level 45 in AoC on two different characters within a month of release (( and im a roleplayer who spends alot of time just hanging out talking / playing out stories with other characters, so that is VERY fast for me )) and I am already bored out of my mind with that game. Having seen whats to come with HG:L 's 2.0 and 2.1 patches, I think ive found my new game for the summer :D!

So in like 3 weeks we'll not see you trolling HG:L? sorry if I don't hold my breath.

Actually, im currently between MMO's because AoC failed to hold my attention. I had just heard rumors of a server merge happening and was hoping for confirmation.
