No offence, but the game doesn't really offer anything special.

I see you spent a lot of time on some of these posts, but a lot of the points really are subjective, like saying best this, best that.

Also i suspect some of these posts are just you on other accounts, people coming up with there first posts saying how much they love the game, but its only a suspicion.

So from reading through the posts, the game is not instanced? I almost had heart failue, cos i've not read much into it, and i hate a game which is instanced throughout.  Just a little in dungeons is a good thing IMO.

Well i feel for the makers, but i can't help but feel as though it sounds like it was a risk from the start, and maybe a little more business knowledge wouldn't have gone a miss. I hope somehow the game can get a release anyway, possibly with some kind of deal with SE, but that is not going to happen.

I hate games wit hend games in general. I suppose it can be fun if you have some friends to paly with and a lot of endgame features, but otherwiser i'm happier carrying on without an endgame.

Well i don't think i;'ve seen many games a spromising as this, i stubled upon it a while ago, and since then havn't heard a single bad word about it. And now i find another thread full of people liking it. Can't wait to play it!

Because i really do like this game a LOT.

Unfortunately though, i decided to stop playing a while ago, because it was so unpopulated. So i was wondering what it is like now.

I think one of the problems was the sheer amount of maps, i just hope the population can rise a lot.

It looks playable, however i kinda want a game where there are some people to play with, and it says on the site most people ever online = 8.

So maybe i'll wait til more players.

Basically i can't really afford to pay for a game, so is this game worth playing witohut paying for a premium account?

What exactly wont i be able to do?

Well if you want a Wow clone, then RoM is definitely the most polished of these. For a game to pass some time, maybe a second game to have for a few months, also try Asda Story. I liked it for 2 months then hated it.

I recommend giving Shaiya a twirl. Great community IMO, although this is subjective, and the PvP was very good. The thing about this game is that for me it is one of the best polished f2p games out there. I'm considering going back myself.

If you don't mind playing a game to pass the time, for a couple of months, Asda Story was OK, but ts typical WoW clone, and if your going down that route you may aswell gofor RoM, however it is very laggy for me. Community is actually very helpful though, and group play pretty prominent.

I'm pretty new to the site, and as such don't really know you, but wanna wish you the best.

I wouldn't mind seeing something completely out of the blue, like the start low level monster is a bugger monster or something.

And i wouldn't mind a change in gamplay, like instances that turn into RTS.

But i don't want most of the things you have said.

I read that thread, very sad. I'm new to the site so i don't know him, but still.

Pikachu  Thundershock!! Your all stunned, and therefore cannot post for 3 years. I win!!!

I played cabal, and did enjoy it, but i stopped playing due to the game dying out after i reached about lvl 115. But this was a long time ago, i'm just not sure if its worth playing again, cos at the time i was in the top guild, the game was new and fresh, and a lot of new things were going on. I doubt it will be any better now.

Atlantica wasn't my thing. Instanced fight scees didn't do it for me.

f2p mmorpg games coming out this year that look promising?

I want a game that fits the same description, preferable free.

I'm losing hope though. :(

TBH i think from reading his i've been a fool, cos i've been going through, what i guess lots do, where they get tired of the MMORPG market, and go through reems of games being unfulfilled.

Yet i didn't try this one out, due to so many complaints on community and customer service.

Yet you say the classes are varied, variation in end weopons, and less grind, which is something i hate.

So i'm downloading it right now.

Only question i have is what group play is like, cos i like to group up.

I hope this lieves up to the hype, cos it seems to me other than complaints on bad community, and customer service, all is good. And for those common complaints people say there are improvements. So i'm gonna give it a try.

Tried Perfect World, Runes of Magic, Cabal, Shaiya, Phoenix Dynasty, Sword of the New World, and many more, these are possibly my other favourite f2p games, but these only really stay fun for not so long IMO, so i hope this isn't another game thats good for just a few months.

I completely agree OP.

It seems to me as though 90% of the MMORPG market is all aimed at people who are new to the genre, because after you've played a few, you've played pretty much them all.
