Fourth, start new players out with much much more money.  You don't start with crap so you get to run the same repatative newbie missions for chump change. 

If you're a newbie solo player, you're screwed completely.  You can't fight anyone cause they're going to have more skills and most likely more money hence better equipment and ship.  If you're lucky enough to know a few people or be in a corporation you'll probably just be known as another anklebiter.

Charging 15$ a month for this game is insulting and shameful.

Ontop of that 80% of your time you're traveling to stargates or stations just to dock or use the jumpgate.  Some missions had me traveling about 80km (which is like 10 minutes) to a jumpgate to start a mission??? WTF? Why do that?  There's no reason and it's only certain missions that of course had big payoffs so it's not even consistent.  The mdesigners just decided to throw in an absolutely unnecessary timekiller to piss you off...  I thought I've seen the worst when it comes to timekilling ploys by MMO companies to keep people playing longer, but CCP you now have the crown. 

How this is #1 is beyond me.  I can only imagine that the person running this site likes the game...

Troll bait , i have been playing eveonline since early beta and still going strong regardless of what others say or think, let not forget were on the eve forums here and of course eveplayers come here let not start a war here that nobody will win

Just have fun in whatever game your playing and you like , that stands for everyone.

You should try WOW, you won't find a more mature and caring community out there. Everyone is there to help and, give free items and at times help wih quests.

In EQ2, I wondered around solo half the time cause no-one seemed to care to help, party and point me in the right direction etc..

I think WoW has one of the best, mature communities in all the mmorpgs out there.

only problem with neocron2 is that around 20 to 25 peoples play it at prime no joke, made the mistake of trying it again la few days ago and every time i log on i only see a few random high lv players .

Hehe i remember getting all those neat chrsitmas candles you have there but my all time favorite are the music boxes to i like to play all the music from the original eq zones cities . ah memories of old norath :)

Play eveonline where pvp hurts and means something  ... fight for a piece of space and yes you fight you loose you loose your ship and all the modules that the other player will loot .

been playing since early beta and have not slowed down , dont listen to all the eve haters you either love or hate eve but eve deserve the respect for being a solid game that different from the rest.

to say abit about nanos

alot of nanos are bought indeed , ok you already knew that , but if you cant find them in a shop well they might be mission drop only , use click saver to find it or maybe it's a shadowland nanos guess you will have to travel there to see might be deep inside SL , well that the best i can give you .

i love eve been 2 years and half and still loving it and i dont try to compare it with other mmo's because eve different and very well deserve it place on the chart .... imagine this company started out only with a dream !!!

What i dont understand is why people have to compare every game out there with wow , and then to save their ass finish sentence with am not a wow fanboy but ..... i never played wow but ...... i know just by reading these forums daily that more than half have played wow or are playing atm . ok fine you wanna be a orc , nightelf and alll but for the love of god STOP comparing eve with wow geez .

Just read the burning crusade ... so they are changing the pvp seem like blizzard are finally doing there homework well one step in the right direction at least , they should look at doac abit nice ideas there .

good games are not about subcriptions numbers , everyone find there game eventually i found mine how many can say i played more than 2 or 3 years on the same game, not many most players jump from game to game kindal ike flavor of the month thing , then move along, eventually you get bored ,even if it's a good game,like wow lets say .

Simple you either love eveonline or you dont . . . i been playing for 2 years and half and still going strong , yes it a slower pace game but at least pvp mean something in eve it even hurts because you actually change the gameworld and control a piece of space .... not bashing other mmo 's at all i did play a few dozens of them the closest pvp i like was shadowbane where you could loose your city but the lag and ugly graphics killed it for me .

sci-fi are more rare too and cant be compared to fantasy type ones remember that .
