Crafting... not Grinding

Hey, I just wanted to submit the the greater knowledge of the masses and ask if anyone knows of a MMORPG that has a good crafting system.  Now by good crafting system I mean a system that isn't just grinding (though some grinding is exceptable, for it is a MMORPG after all), and one that the crafting actually matters.   For example I want a game were I can have a business and people will develop a loyalty, or at least recognize me as a good crafter. 

Other then that, I'm not to picky on games, whether they are free or not, text based or graphical or what have you.  Other games that had decent crafting systems were SWG  but unfortantely it tends to be repeditious grinding and DaoC though I eventually got bored of that.

So if anyone has some suggestions on games to play would be great!
