The story will keep you well entertained while you learn about the mechanics of the game. The community is mostly welcoming especially if you start on one of the unofficial roleplaying (optional) servers like Landroval. Starting in the Hobbit lands will have you doing more non-combat quests than starting in the human or dwarf/elf areas.

Most people are wiling to answer specific questions but if you ask things like "How do I play?" What do I do? then don't expect many helpful answers. That goes for any MMO though.

As far as Mechanics go, just be sure they arent talking about the timing, being advanced or retarded. That is a technical term, advanced being your spark plugs fire before the pistons hit TDC on the compression stroke, and retarded meaning the spark fires after the piston hits TDC on the compresion stroke. Also it can mean, spark being set to fire later than the factory timing setting, which itself may be retarded or advanced in relation to the compression stroke.

All I'm saying is that it's annoying that we're being filtered, it'd be nice to be able to say what I want.

IMO, if they can filter words and they have a ban policy for those words, they should automate banning with the filter.  Takes the emotion out of it and people should have the abiltiy to learn to change their behaviour.

Swearing is called Adult language to discourage children from doing it but it isn't called mature language.  Filtering what you say is part of being a mature adult.

Mature adults dont play video games. and if they do on rare occasions. hardly worth cutting off a vast majority for the few paying customer's who maybe log in 2 hours of a night after they get home from work as compared to the customer's that are online between 8-12 hours a day.

Mature adults are able to do what they want and for however long they want. With maturity. Maturity is an attitude not an age or an emotion. It also does not exclude playing games.

dont swear and you wont get filtered..i have played lotro for 5 yrs on laurelin and the community is the best i have ever seen in an mmo.no swearing at all.anyways,why do you feel the need to swear.other thing is when swearing was it at someone or just in general..would like to know m8..it does seem a tad harsh,but if its their rules then so be it.

If you are asking for RAM recommendations then we need to know the model of of your PC and/or its motherboard model. How much RAM you have in it, How much RAM you want/need. If you have any free slots available and if you want to replace your current RAM sticks. Right now RAM prices are quite cheap.

Your computers motherboard limits what RAM and how much of you can use

We also need to know what operating system and whether it is 32 bit or  64 bit. A 32 bit Windows OS will only recognize 4 GB RAM.
