"- SOE becoming a world power and taking over Kansas." I wonder how many subscribers Sony has between all its games and how many people live in Kansas.. I like the post Burrek, I'm a big fan of people putting there opinions in bullet points, especially this - "- Some may start participating in farming because they need money (this is a border line item since it really does not damage anyone). " I beginning to wonder now, if these exchange servers will be crammed full of people farming named across norath for sale for real money. If so, how far will this go? Will exchange become a place nobody really wants to create characters on, and instead be a huge farmfest?? Interesting.. - Taz |

I'm not sure if EQ2 is dying, that seems a little exaggerated, to be perfectly honest I havent seen much change in players. If anything the population is spread out now, no 1 zone is particulary overcrowded due to players advancing at different speeds. For example your mid level population is starting to hit Enchanted Lands and Zek, which used to have only 10-15 players when I was in my 30's, now has closer to 90. Lavastorm and Everfrost, have closer to 40 players in each. If I had to hazard a guess at population size on my server, I would probably go for about the 3k during peak hours as a rough number. 24 servers? 72k. Obviously, I'm guessing at these numbers, but running around, there are a lot of people still playin :) If you have a hard time grouping due to low level, you could consider the solo content they added. Sony now has a way for you to go through pretty much every level, following a set of quests designed to advance you through the zones. You will see 5x as much solo mobs in outdoor zones and even new solo instanced dungeons. If you play, you should enjoy it :) - Taz |

Thats good info Ezza I used to play Neocron for around 8-10 months a couple of years back, mostly when it was new. I was thinking of revisiting it for Neocron 2, its always fun to see how a game has evolved over 2 years :) - Taz |
