Add! I love the community here and have been watching over this game like a hawk. Would be nice to talk about this game in a familar community. I don't see why you shouldn't add this game. There has been so many other games that have been questionable, so why even waste time thinking about it. It'll bring in a nice community and give us a chance to gather our thoughts about the long awaited triquel. Lastly, as far as im concerned this is an mmorpg, why read into the details? |

Looks like fun sir, lots of exciting alternatives to mmorpg's coming out like diablo 3, which might be right around the time of guild wars 2, whenever its ready... tough to decide which one will win my few hours a week. |

Watchedem all for fun, really liked the one with the cursing, too bad they'll look right over it because you can't advertise that. |

Of course mounts are fun; who doesn't enjoy moving outrageous fast on a tiger, motorcycle, or dragon. However, I just could never see myself needing a method of fast traveling in tyria. This world just doesn't need it. Rather than mounts being a necessity, I would like to see more options. Instead of saying, crap I'm level 26... I need to go to the blue mountain zone, we'll be able to walk around and get a feel for what is going on. Then, we have the opportunity to gradually move toward a new adventure. I feel like mounts call for an extra amount of rushed adventures and ultimately missed content. Truly, keep mounts as an underwater experience if anything at all. Flying in limited zones wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either... I wonder if they thought about incorporating flying fights with their new z axis : D yes i know unrealistic, i can ponder though. |

Agreed, charr are already voilent enough to fulfill your needs. They are perfect as a group of npcs that we will communicate with and go to war with.
Oh and btw, notice how they made them out to be exactly like native americans? Heh, kind of funny, but I hope it'll be fun seeing these guys go nuts dancing and brawling or what not. |

Originally posted by Garvon3 That's a bit one-sided don't you think? How does instant travel create problems at all? It saves time, lets you get into action, and creates a better environment for friends; it will be easier to travel as a team rather than waiting for fifteen minutes trying to get from point a to point b on a damn boat or flying mount. |

Originally posted by MMO.Maverick Couldn't have said it better myself! Whats the point of running across the map that might take 40 minutes? There is a good explaination to why tyria has asuran teleportation gates. So if you would rather role play and choose not to use asuran technology, then by all means. Lastly, I really don't want to see that many teleportation gates. There still should be a touch of adventure, but I'm certain anet will fulfill this. ei: Where the gates are located would be a special point of convergence or fork in the road to new zones - oh, and in the demo we saw plently of gates, this might be a decision to carry on fast traveling in lower level zones? |

Originally posted by romanator0 I see it more as the ship is nestled nicely into the arch. Hmmm, you'll notice long tensile rope attached to the ship. I'm not sure why I keep going on about this, but I thought this'd be interesting if it turned out to be something more than meets the eyes. |

I suppose I missed reading how they went about construction. But! Why does the ship look so new? Also, why would the arch look like some sort of loading dock? |

I've been carefully inspecting some of the phots released from the past week at PAX. I caught a glimspe of a huge ship on top of new lion's arch's arch. At first I didn't make anything out of it, but now I'm starting to think that we'll be able to ride this huge ship, or should I say airship. Has anyone heard anything about air travel? Will this ship be used in future travel to other lands? Surely, this would be a nice surprise. Anyhow, I posted the picture below; what do you make out of this? Thief infront of New Lion's Arch |

While breezing through the new thief profession I noticed what seemed to be oriental architecture. I'll paste the picture, then put up a link in case you cant see it [ http://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/thief/ ]. Just go to the bottom of the article and it should have a couple pictures.
I'm under the belief that this is definitely oriental architecture. Looks like we'll be seeing some more canthan themes in Guild Wars 2! Thus, you can assume some Elonian themes too? What do you think? |
