Plus, every quest has a nice little arrow on the mini-map, so they is no possible way to have to search for anything. Death penalty is a joke. You will see zerg tactics, suicide travel, etc, because there is absolutely no reason to fear death. Leveling in the mid levels still takes about 30 minutes per level. You will be seeing level 80s before week one is over, I predict. This is the most carebear MMO I have ever seen from a major producer.

Lol right as I was getting into my groove they say.  In 10 minutes the servers will go down for maintenance for an additioanl 3 hours >.<

Tyranny Server for the win.  =D.  I actually really like the server and I've only experienced 1 guild that goes around ganking ppl for no particular reason.  PvP is pretty quiet if you know where to go, and if u want to fight there's always one somewhere.  Really love the server and would recommend it to anyone.

Can you use the same account for your retail?

What's the diff. between the game key that you get to get the early access client and the mammoth, etc., and the actual retail game that you buy when it comes out?  If you have the client than can't you just buy game time instead of paying 50 dollars for the game?

I have the closed beta client...but what I'm saying is that if you can download the retail client w/ 5 dollars...then what do you get from buying the game?

Have ya'll played the beta...it truly isn't that bad.  I don't even run a great comp and the only bad thing is the load times that they do indeed say will be fixed by launch day with the fixes in the beta client.  I really love the gameplay, story, etc., and it's a fun game if you would give it a chance.  But alot of the people flaming it are people that don't realize that if you wait to load the environment it runs perfectly fine.

So...I open up Age of Conan via the shortcut, the patcher, and the actual icon in program files and the same thing happens...I press play and it just goes to black....is anyone else having this problem and if so how can i fix it?

Well, as in all games, the mage or "demonologist" types start off the weakest and eventually become some of the strongest characters in the game.  I'm actually quite interested in how magic will work in this game, so I would go with that.  Rogues and Warriors...especially warriors are quite cliche' but you will definately find them everywhere.  I personally don't like priests so I wouldn't do it...but everyone is different in their tastes.

Dude this is going to be awesome!! But, what if you aren't currently lvl 13 yet..I'm like 90% done w/ my client.  Is 13 relatively easy to come by?

People just want something to cry about....some people just like their own voice to be heard. Wait till launch to make judgements...Everyone was complaining about not getting into beta and having to pay...then Funcom and FP allowed everyone to come just recently...noone is complaining about that anymore...When these things get fixed, everyone will stop complaining and then start complaining about the next problem...Human nature, noone can appreciate things for their positive attributes, only their negative..Nuff said.
