Absolutely no chance War or AoC will be released in 1st quarter 2008. Release dates are there just for marketing and keeping fanboys in a constant state of anticipation.   Fall 2008 is likely the earliest we will see War or Aoc released with chance of them falling to 2009.  MMOs now are much larger,  more complex , need to be more polished and need a minimum of 1 year of beta (unless you beta test it with paid beta testers prior to beta like WoW).

 

Hopefully Mythic will do the right thing and push this game back to 2009. The longer they wait the better off we are.  Polish and content will always win over rushing a game out early.  Games do not get a  second chance.  If its not fun and polished at release people will move on to the next big game.  Although I can;'t think of a next big game in production other than AoC or Warhammer.

I think thats a little steap..2009 release?? Have you seen how smooth the game apears to be moving? If the beta goes well then I dont see any reason for them not to release in Q2 at the latest.

Totally agree, yeah so he uses the same jokes in almost every interview, im sure because of him theres a handfull of people who would otherwise not be intrested in WAR.

If you think WAR is a WoW ripoff you are highly uneducated in the game and its preposed mechanics or youre just plain ignorant. And apparently there are ton of people that are looking forward to it because of its rvr.

And about the elf thing, i didnt look close enough to see if they had elf ears or not, so they aint elfs, theyre still extremely girly looking asians.

Looking for a pvp mmo id suggest looking into war, because I doubt this game's silly pvp could hold a candle to WAR's rvr, not to praise it or anything, because it isnt out yet. But im pretty sure war's pvp will be better than a bunch of girly flying asian elf things.

And the graphics are good but it aint anything to get a bone over, EQ2 has great graphics but alot of people hate it.

This game looks like a huge terd, I think the only people who want to play it are anime queers or FF lovers, flying winged-asians...LOLLL

The graphics dont look all that bad but so far the gameplay and the character models just look like lol.
