I suggest listing all of the MMOs you have played so people don't waste their time suggesting and/or describing something you've already played. |

WoW is one of the most casual friendly MMOs out there that offers a lot of different features. It may not have the best community as a whole, but that's what guilds are for. Anyways I suggest giving Guild Wars a try. If that is still too time demanding I suggest giving FPS MMOs a shot. |

The only F2P MMO I know of where you get an actual benefit while grouping is Atlantica Online. You can give the MMOs that MadnessRealm suggests in this other thread a go, but don't expect them to be anything amazing. I'm looking for a very group oriented game. F2P and group oriented don't go together. |

New Site Design and Layout Comments / Suggestions Thread
Site Suggestions « General Discussion 1/27/09 6:15:31 AM
I definitely dig this new layout and theme. My eyes no longer retain the lines of text after I look away from the screen, except when I am typing a new post, when I'm in the dark. The only thing I'd like is for the text input box in the Report feature to be made horizontally longer so I can see the majority of what I am typing. The space is there and not being used for anything so I wouldn't think it'd be too hard.
Edit Add: Add an option under Recent Forum Posts -> All Posts by... to open/close all posts instead of having to individually click on View for each thread. I direct a lot of people to past threads instead of repeating the answer. |

Maybe if you communicated with her as well as you did with us you'd enjoy your relationship more.
I definitely agree with hvc801 though. I love to play video games and if my mate can't accept that then they aren't the one for me. I'm now with a game programmer that I met in an MMO. It's going on four years and it's been the best relationship ever. |

The game play from a character in WoW that is level 30 is not equal to the game play you will experience at end game. However I do agree the PvP isn't anything amazing. I suggest you give Lineage II a shot since it fits the majority of what you're looking for even though it is an aged game. If that doesn't work for you then I agree with what Sovrath suggests. |

For information on end game just do a search on these pages for the word raid: Lord of the Rings Online: Possibly returning couple questions. Everquest II: Looking for some insight in regards for EQII Final Fantasy XI: FFXI's endgame. Dungeons & Dragons Online: What is DDO? Lineage II: Starting Lineage II, Need Advice
Since you're looking for more of a challenge and more raid content I'd suggest FFXI or L2. |

(Update: 08/24/10)Easily find your favorite type of MMO
LFGame « General Discussion 1/26/09 6:40:44 PM
08/24/10 - Update: Current update to games starting with a E. All games starting with the letter F and afterwards have not been added yet. This is a major rework of what was previously here. Over time I hope to include most, only most because not all MMOs fit into a category people are interested in, MMOs on the MMORPG.com list. It will take me awhile to complete this list as I doubt I will want to work on it every day so at least check back every week for updates if you are LFGame. Eventually I will add links to the game titles and color code them so you can see if they are "Free 2 Pay" or "Pay 2 Play", but like I said this is a work in progress and will take awhile to complete. One step at a time. :)

Since you already know the games you're looking for I suggest checking out their specific forums on this site for the answers. The questions you have for each of them has been answered many times and can generally be found on the first page under each forum. If you want suggestions on other MMOs you're going to have to be more specific on what you're looking for. |

It would help if you list all of the games you have played so people don't waste their time suggesting and/or describing someting you've already played. |
I'd check out Warhammer first, but if that doesn't float your boat then check out my suggestions in these two other threads: |
That didn't help at all. When I am asking to be more specific about PvP I am asking what specific type do you like. There's territorial, open, full loot, battle grounds, arena, guild vs guild and so on. For graphics there's cartoony, realistic, anime, 3D, and 2D. Using the words nice and good are just too vague and relative as you don't enjoy the same type I do. |
Define what you consider "good" and that will help people suggest something more accurate. Also if you've played any other MMOs then list them too. |
Ahhh the unique things in MMOs is what I love most.
Wizard101 - Turn based card play combat and how others can join your "group". Atlantica Online - Turn based combat where you control yourself and up to eight mercenaries. Also crafting where you have to get the mats and then actually fight to get something else up, that I forgot the name of, to complete the combination. Dungeons & Dragons Online - The combat and dual class system. Fusion Fall - The platform jumping quests with zip lines inside of the enclosed regions (not instances). Also the use of the Nanos (pets). Everquest - Back before PoP... the factions that actually made a difference. Guards would attack you and/or you could run through a whole dungeon area without being attacked depending on your faction. Vanguard - The diplomacy card system thingy. Asda Story - The marriage system. Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online - The combat and pet system. Deco Online - The crafting is like the real life game of Perfection. It's timed and if you fail you lose everything. EVE Online - The whole thing? lol |
FreeMMOGamer - Casual Games They also list sports games on there so have fun. |
I'm not sure what you're referring to when you're talking about "cool upgrade system", but I'm going to suggest these games since they fit your other requirements: Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online Atlantica Online (turn based) |
For the gladiator type MMO I suggest checking out this site: FreeMMOGamer I'm not sure how the other type of game differs from regular MMOs though. Is it that it's just group oriented? |
