You also have Mmofps for games like Tabula rasa and such.

Singleplayer games doesn't really have a "mmo" touch like current mmo games have. And don't count GTA IV as a mmo just because it has multiplayer feature. It's like saying a mod to crysis (bad example but meh, can't think of anything else) with a huge enviroment and lots of people playing a mmo.

But like always. Just wait and see what the future may reveal :)

Ive done some pvping on my Assassin and here is my thought about it.

After the very first attack in stealth. Obviously you can't restealth? "Ima just run here *point* and vanish, kay?"

Sounds stupid and not very good in my ears.

A rogue without stealth is still a mighty foe. Agile "dancer" that stings you with venom and weakens you until it's time to give the final blow.

It's sad to see how people think Rogue/assassin = Stealth attacks.

And oh, i love how backstab and such doesn't exist. Instead you get stealth attack damage instead. Just learn how to use your skills :)

Ive beaten many foes with my assassin, and ive fallen to quite a few for dumb actions and trying out new styles. So yeah.. It's fresh to me and im loving it.

I have nothing but good to say when a company does something right.  If nothing improved with this patch, I would still voice my displeasure. But you see, I would be considered a "hater", when actually myself and others like me are just calling it as we see it.  Using the forums as we should to try to pass the information as it is being experienced.  We are labeled with the infantile terms "hater" or "fanboy" if we stand with an opposing viewpoint to the one reading.

 

Agreed. Personally i don't judge people for being a fanboy/hater if they don't act like one.

The stereotypes of the both sides are obvious and i treat them like that. Concrete intellectual answers and why they don't like the game/love the game, is fine by me. And i know im a goofball myself, but yeah. It's a game still :p

Ive always said it. Debugger, older patch version. Makes the game laggy as hell. 10mins left til i can try it and feel what the game is all about without 10fps xD

And uh, seems the level cap is gone. Figures someone will take level 40ish under this day rofl. I'd love it. To try out the crafting :p

FC said they had two choices when making AOC. Make it be a seemless world full of exploration with less graphics or make it how it is. Yeah. Taking level 13 takes LOADS OF TIME. It's easy. And i love the single-player storyline aswell.

But yeah, it's not for everyone anyhow. People love bashing new games :)

Rawr, Im not being all negative about you. Some people wants more speed and action. I want the crafting but hey. I need to hit 40 for it.

Not sure why people are having issues running this game, just a combination of your hardware and systems not meshing real well with AoC. But as some other people have stated, the problem isn't that your computer is underpowered it's just at this stage AoC's techies haven't sorted every performance bug out for every single combination of systems that will be playing the game. Check other MMOs, this happens all the time.

the closed beta is running on a more stable newer patch version. The open beta is much older. So it's way more unstable. Sucks really :/

Just for sports. Have you tried to max out your graphics? Worked for some. Worked for me.

And for the skill tree. Your holding on a PASSIVE skill at wow, and a ACTIVE skill at Aoc. Different names, different styles of activatring it. And is it so oh unique? Please. this must be one of the worst bashing ive ever seen. Let the war fanboys come forth!

Okay, so they got a talent tree. I can name a few games with talent trees just like this one. Except the third tree ofc. *editz*

So what's the big deal? It's easy to use. It works well, i doubt they have the exact numbers like any other mmo, they have 3 skill trees where one is shared. Haven't really seen that before. So meh. What are you trolling about really?

Apparently the upcomming rp server will have name restriction. Will be interesting to see if it will be as good as i watn it to be.

And yes. my folder to age of conan beta is named Conan the librarian.

If i would compare those. I'd say.. Perfect world. It has one of the best and nicest F2p customisation and graphics ive ever seen. But it's not all about the looks. It has playing housing with the sims style modification. And i like the whole idea. Sure, it's nothing "new" but heck. It's worth playing anyhow. Cabal online was repetetive and boring for me. Tale of pirates.. Meh, not my type of game xD

Yeah, it seems that the Closed beta runs much better than the current OB. But i hope for the FFA pvp event they will do will have the same/newer client.

I mean c'mon. If i can't use my dualcore. Im stuck with a single 2.4ghz xD

I would say, Aoc. Ive played Wow and Lotro. WAR sounds like a good idea. But i don't like the whole concept. I love the warhammer world. Just not the mmo they made out of it :/

Aoc feels like a fresh breeze for me. And i hope it will go well with it. Even though what the trollers and haters says :)

Well, at the 10th if you have level13 chars. They will be level 20 and bumped to the capital city of the races. And open pvp outside towns xD
