Let me explain..

It's nothing like Diablo, at all. You fight demons from hell with lazerguns, beam swords etc with "power" armors. o.o

It's singleplayer mostly with online thingy, people prefer to solo rather than grouping so i dunno about 8 players max.. Uhm, I found the game boring personally :|

To be honest, the graphics are horrid and incredibly outdated. I don't like the models because the male looks way to bulky and females looks just.. wrong >_>

One of the big reasons why i don't play it is because of such a huge and popular game, the graphics are really a sad view of it. It would be much better if they had a revamp of the models so you could atleast get a "normal" shaped toon that doesn't have 100kg muscles and still thin as a stick.

Wow, those news were good news for me, almost as i could try out the game again to see if it's worth the time. Thanks for the information!

IVe had sessions where ive played 48hours straight then went on to daily basis of ~12hours each day if not more.

That would make me addictive to a game in a medical view. But it was merely because i didn't have nothing better to do.

Now i play average of 8hours each day simply because i have a Gf that plays games aswell, weekends are normally for parties and hanging out with friends. And im very impulsive so that "8 hours each day" doesn't really hold.

At the moment i don't have a job nor going to school, so i have alot of free time doing nothing. But hey, better that i sit infront of my computer everyday than being outside doing whatever shitty things you can do :p

No crafting doesn't really apeal me. I love crafting, and about that  "there are so many mmo with crafting out there" sure, there are tons of them. Just none of them has a good and advanced crafting system that did apeal to me. That blows, well. Spellborn seems interested in many other ways so i'll try it anyways :p

Hopefully we'll see (if not in 2008, then in 2009) games that will not be imitators but will incorporate all the good aspects that were introduced so far and will bring new things in the gender. It's basically a matter of moving past the transition phase.

That's a perspective i forgot to look it as. And yeah, there will probably be a next-gen mmorpg with all the good features and fixes with the things that has happened in the past. Like you stated, it's always like that :p

Fast forward a few years, and now we have every MMO released copying in some way or another WoWs gamestyle, trying to cash in on it's success.  The veteran MMOer is now the minority, and MMOs cater to them no longer.  For them WoW is the epitome of everything wrong with their chosen gaming genre, and WoW gamers the epitome of the kind of people they were trying to avoid by getting into MMOs in the first place!  

So shall i write another 400 paragraphs explaining why "go back to WoW" is such an extreme insult?  Any of you cretins understand where i'm going with this?  For those of you that say 'no', all i have left to say is "go back to WoW then, you ubern00b!  I'm a veteran MMOer, BOOYAH!!!". 

Personally i have never gotten the sentence "Go back to wow" But ive been called about all "noob" terms.

And yeah, this new piles of  "post gen" mmorpgs are an insult to the old ones where you needed to work alot of accomplish anything. If anyone ask "which game is that?" Then you truly haven't payed attention to mmo's for that long. And yes, you could call me a vet mmo'er or just a plain Geek. And yeah, it seems ive been here since -02 aswell o.o *just noticed*

Anyhow, my wishes is in Darkfall and it's hardcoreness. If it's another vaporware ima just head back to DaoC or Eq >_>

I did know they would kill the game eventually, after they hit "3D" i thought that already.. But yeah, Rs was a good game with awesome setup.. Though it lacked the interface and graphics to keep me at it.

Anarchy online was a decent game back in the days. But ive lost interest in it now, but i guess it's still the same..

Horizons.. Where should i start, uh.. It's a rather cool game that's for sure.. But i didn't like the crafting system, the graphics weren't my taste if i want 3d that is.

Considering it has a trial, just go a try it :)

Actually, Mythos is way closer to being the "sequel" to Diablo2.

And yeah, i read about Diablo3 really comming out. But it won't be like the previous diablo games now that the original developers of diablo has made flagship studios instead :p

Wow i just.. WOW. It looks very promising and i shall play it when i have the client down ;o Ima join at server2 also to hook up with some english speaking people :p
