Such an epic video! I can't wait for this game to come out! |

I tried to download and install the game, but it hung while trying to unpack files. Had to manually kill my computer to get it to stop. Was going to give it a try, but not with such a terrible deilvery system. If the game has major issues when you download it then it's not worth the time to play it if the team who designs it can't make a stable installer/patcher. |

World of Warcraft: Is Blizzard Losing Its Community?
News Discussion « General Discussion 5/24/11 11:47:38 AM
One other thing. I know some people who are just playing WoW right now because there is nothing out there to play. I, myself, might log into WoW once or twice a week now. It was a total waste to re up this last time. I got the 7 day reup thing in my email and decided to give it another month after that. The game is just boring. I have been ready to move on for months now. Bring on ToR. Sick of waiting for it. |

World of Warcraft: Is Blizzard Losing Its Community?

It's kinda like this community. Disfunctional. WoW lost it's community a long time ago. |

I just wish the company would go away. You screwed over your customer base too many times. Putting lipstick on a pig won't change that whomever buys them. That being said I wish CBS would sell the Star Trek rights to a real company and Champions would just be shut down. As for the Neverwinter game I don't hold much hope for quality. I really wish Atari would sell the rights to D&D to a huge studio like EA/Bioware and they do a real Forgotten Realms MMO set in 3.5 and not that 4.0 horsecrap. |

Champions Online: Atari Divests Itself of Cryptic Studios
News Discussion « General Discussion 5/17/11 11:03:51 PM
Atari got smart and realized that Cryptic was a terrible company with no clue how to build good games. |

Forsaken World: Five Things Forsaken World Does Wrong

All PWI games are tripe. Nuff said. I weep for the Torchlight MMO. |

You guys really are a bunch of paranoid folks. Seriously. |

This app isn't a full blown MMO in the traditional sense (real time combat and adventuring), but it does have a lot of the same type of mechanics. (quests, bosses, loot, etc) http://www.facebook.com/LegacyofaThousandSuns The dev team are huge MMO fans. Played a lot of previous MMOs and are into CCG's. They are very hands on with the playerbase. Any issues within or outside the game they handle very quickly and professionally. I have been very pleased with this game even though it's not your traditional MMO. They also have a siste game called Dawn of the Dragons: http://www.facebook.com/DawnoftheDragons This game is more fantasy based. Same gaming style as LoTS. A fun game, but I prefer the space themed game. They will be announcing two new games before E3. One is mostly definetly a CCG. We just don't know the genre yet. I would suggest folks check both games out. 5th planet also works with an art company called 6th Wave. One of the best Facebook games out there. |

and we care because ???? |

Might go back and check it out. The devs were complete hard heads for the longest time about the death penalty. The game could have been a good game here in the states had the dev team/company not been such greedy frakkers. |

the average MMO player Rift will be a good game for them. It takes everything most MMO players have seen before and tweaks it slightly. Some gimmicks with the Rifts help the game, but get boring after awhile. It is a solid game, but for mmo players who have played these types of games for years we want something more. I played through all the betas. I enjoyed myself, but not nearly enough to go buy the game. I wish the game success, though. I appreciate the fact it's out there and helping take away some of WoW's demographics and also pushing new MMO developers to be better. The game is decent and in time hopefully can truly be a great game, but it's not enough for me. |

F2P is nothing but a scam business model anyway. I hope they do regulate it. |

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes: Bonus XP Weekend
News Discussion « General Discussion 2/20/11 8:47:26 PM
Hey Sony, make this game F2P and I would play. The game hasn't had a major update in ages. SOE should either sell the game or just turn the servers off. At least if they went the F2P way they might see an increase in game traffic. |

The only good thing that PWI has done has been striking a deal with Runic on the Torchlight MMO. I dread seeing how PWI will canabilize the game when it comes out, though. Runic is a top notch game developer, but this marriage with PWI will end badly. |

Every one of their games are the same boring grinder. Bad translations. Terrible leveling because it requires you to spend money in their cash shop to level at a certain point. If your going to use a cash shop put items in there that people want to buy for show and prestige not to actually keep playing the game. Nothing new about any of their games. It's nothing but a racket. They get some knock off game from China and retrofit it here for the States and the majority of the players come from other countries to US servers to play, because it's better than their own. I have tried almost every game they have thrown out and their all garbage. |

agree with ya. I uninstalled it just a few minutes ago. It doesn't really do anything for me. Feels like nothing new. |

3 games worth buying this year...torchlight 2, Star Wars: ToR and GW2. nuff said! |

I enjoyed the Guardian side a lot more. Just seemed a lot nicer and story was easier to follow. |

Alot, your so smart. You know your days of the week. *rolls eyes* I asked about the audio because it's supposed to be released today.
Tuesday – In a blog post full of cool audio clips of the background conversations between human NPCs, writer John Ryan will show how writing and sound design bring the human story to life in Guild Wars 2. This dialogue, overheard by your character in the human areas, really expands and fleshes out the world in a way that simple quest text can’t. |
