I don't why, but it just seems to click for me. I like the story, the combat, the look, and the music by  movie composer  Howard Shore. To me it just seem to be a really good F2P game, doesn't really do anything new. Its just a combination of things that make me like it. Lately between Soul of the Ultimate nation and Huxley: The Dystopia, I'm really starting to like the developer Webzen. I used to the company, never liked Archlord or MU, but their newer stuff seems really good to me.

I'm currently playing the Soul of the Ultimate Nation English Version, its in Open Beta right now.  In my opinion its one of the best free to play MMOs ever.

You don't need a key for Battlesawrm. All I did was sign-up, downloaded the game , and then started playing. Seems odd that they'd be giving out keys now.

Did you get free ingame money and such that way?

But yeah, the game is pretty fun. Especially as a bug RTS controller.  The FPS isn't top of the line in the least, but for what they are shooting for, a game like this is pretty cool in concept.  If a big named company could do something like this, it could really catch on quick.

Yes I did get free in-game money. I've been in the beta for like a month or so already now.

Actually I like play as a Human in third-person.

Also I don't think these keys we'll work, because the only keys the website mentioned is FilePlanet.com Exclusive keys. So I don't know what MMORPG.com is doing with keys then, unless the two websites are working together with Battleswarm.

I've tried playing several times over the past couple weeks. I've downloaded it, installed it, uninstalled it, rinse and repeat. Tried changing the resolution in the ini.  Game starts up and I just get a Black Screen. I can hear the music from the opening movie but that's about it.. Frustrating. Core duo, Gt 9600 3Gig Ram. I can run many other games. The forums over at S.U.N. aren't much help. Anyone have a fix for this?

You change your resolution in game, you really should be messing with ini files anyway. Plus I have had no problems with the game what-so-ever. I have a dual-core too, and I have a GT 9500, and 4 gig ram. So we have very similar systems. You might want to try  Ijji's official SUN tech help forum and ask a GM there. http://forums.ijji.com/forumdisplay.php?f=310

What you guys are talking about, is the reason why I stopped playing last year. I played the game for 4 years from from 2004 to 2008. In my opinion still one of the best games available, but its all old hat now. I've done it all in SWG and the new stuff, doesn't feel new or fresh.

That's why my next online Star Wars adventure will take play in The Old Republic. Where Sony has failed, Bioware is succeeding. Plus in Star Wars: The Old Republic, its in a timeline that has not been touched before. So the develpoers will have a lot of freedom and room to breath.

SWG had to try and stay within the line of the original trilogy movies and if it didn't line up perfectly, people would moan and groan on the forums.Where as with Bioware their 300 years after Knights of the Old Republic 2 and 3,000 years before the rise of Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire.

So its sad to say, but with the news of SWG shutting down 12 servers. SWG's days are numbered. Also if the rumors are true or not about Sony working on a Clone Wars cartoon MMO, using the Free Realms engine. I seriously doubt LucasArts would like Sony hold another license of theirs  again, because of what has been going on for a little over 6 years now.

What I want in a Sci-FI game is being made by BioWare. Its a little game called, Star Wars: The Old Republic. You might have heard of it. Seriously though its scary how so mainly ideas that I had for a good sci-fi/Star Wars game years ago, are in The Old Republic. Years ago playing Star Wars Galaxies, I'd think to myself stuff like. You know it would be cool if and now a lot of the"if's" are coming true in The Old Republic. The game is turning out to be what I always thought SWG was going to be and what I always wanted it to be.

I got that September 16th image in an e-mail today. The subject line only  read, You're Invited: TERA.

Are the times still the same...from 2pm PDT to 10pm PDT everyday or what?  Been a little while since I've played this and was wondering what was new for this

The servers are open 24/7 now in open beta. They just go down for maintenance sometimes. Its like the game has been launched, but not officially.

I learned about Star Wars Galaxies back in 2003 in magazine article entitled, "I Wanna Be A Wookiee". If I remember correctly, the magazine was Electronic Gaming Monthly. I've always been a big Chewbacca fan, so after I read that I was so ready to play SWG. Before that I had never heard of a MMORPG before at all and I've been gaming since 1983.

Not surprising at all. With Bioware working on Star Wars: The Old Republic and with the rumor that SOE is working on a Star Wars: The Clone Wars MMO (Supposedly using the Free Realms engine.). Its sad to say, but SWG's days are numbered. It was my first MMO and the only one I played for a long time, I played for almost 5 years. Not even with their new updates, it feel like "been there, done that." to me. My next Star Wars online adventure will be in The Old Republic.

I agree with all of them, except City of Heroes. Champions would make a better original  super hero movie, out side of DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

Will ijji 's SUN online be able for others european countries ?

I believe its just for North American (United States, Canada, and Mexico),. Webzen (The developer) is publishing a global version soon that should service the rest of the world.

The game is pretty good, but not worth paying for. So I'm going to go a head and pass on this one.

Great to hear you guys are finally getting the game. I've been playing the Ijji version here in North America and loving it. We had our closed beta in August and now we're in open beta. Hopefully yours will move as quickly.

Here is a thought

Didn't Microsoft and Blizzard have a big meeting behind closed doors a couple of years ago? It was when all the rumors started about WoW for the Xbox 360.

Maybe they are going to utilize the Natal or something for "more immersion" . No idea if the Natal will also work on a PC

If this is true, maybe there's another Halo MMO in the works. The last one got canceled.

Its going to be a Star Wars: The Old Republic clone. Once LucasArts and BioWare release the game everyone (Including Blizzard) will be copying it. Sounds like their trying to copy it already.

Of course it should look like the armor is protecting, but you should know she's a woman.

I think its due to lack of interest. Its never really been a popular genre, when compared to  others. I know I have never been that interested in them. I have even tried a few times to get in to MMORTS' and offline RTS', but it was never the type of game play I was looking for. Plus its called Real-Time Strategy, but its anything but Real-Time. Its almost as bad as Turn-based games.

Just because you have'nt been interested in them  doesnt mean no one else is. RTS is a very popular genre. I am curious what MMORTS you tried seeing as how there is very very very limited selection of them.

Gotta love these kids who think since they dont like something that it is some unerversial law that no one else will like them.

Online BattleForge, Dreamlords, and Saga, offline Age of Empires, Civilizations, and Star Wars: Empire at War.

I've been gaming since I was 5 years old, back in 1983. That's when I got my first console, the Atari 2600. I also did some gaming on the Commodore 64 home PC.  So watch who your calling kid. I just happen to prefer FPS, TPS, RPGs among other types of games. Maybe I should have worded my statement differently, but I know other people who aren't in to RTS. Plus you don't  see too many people bring them up on the forums either. It was just my two cents and now I'm done.
