I'm the guy in the middle (Ravenman) near Wonder Woman. Ravenman  just had turned level 30 and Batman was my mentor. But I couldn't pass up hitting on Wonder Woman. :D

In my opinion nothing needs to kill WOW, because for me WOW was crap and dead to me from day one. I could careless what their subscriber numbers are. I play a game and stick with a game because I enjoy the game. Not just because its popular with the general public.

And Star Wars: The OId Republic will own the year that is 2012 and will continue to be the one MMO to rule them all, The Chosen One. Plus there will be a new term called the TOR Killer, but one will not come for a long time. Yet there maybe one in the distant future. Maybe another Star Wars MMO or maybe the fabled Mass Effect MMO. Only time will tell. All this was foretold by the wise MMO Sages of old. The prophecy read that one day  The Chosen One would  come and will rule them all. And The Chosen One has come and The Chosen One was born on December 20th, 2011. Unto a  virgin MMORPG developer named Bioware, who was without the sins of the Harlot MMORPG developer named Sony Online Entertainment. So it was written and so it has come to pass. Rejoice O' MMO Gamer, Rejoice. For we are now in a Golden Age of Online Interactive Entertainment. Oh Plus the prophecy as fortold that The Beast know as World of Warcraft will be cast in to the abyss in 2012, along with its evil creator named Blizzard aka Diablo himself. Freeing the poor WOW slaves from their bondage forever. Amen.

It doesn't have it, because its a to be continued. Meaning they will be continuing the class story quests in major updates from time to time. Don't know how often, but their going to. Think of where you're at as a cliff hanger.

I'd say its a 9.5. Its a  type of game I've been wanting for about 7 years now. Its what I always wanted Star Wars Galaxies to be, but the technology wasn't there 7 years ago. With that said I dare say it is the best MMO currently available. Nothing comes close to it. I know the combat is nothing new, but the Bioware style eithical and moral choices in storytelling and the fact that its story-driven. Is exactly what makes it the best, nothing comes close to the scope and magnitude of TOR and nothing will for atleast a year or more. This game is the next generation in online interactive entertainment. Finally the reason why I gave it a 9.5, is due to the fact no game iis perfect. If anyone says their favorite game is perfect, there only lying to themselves. Developers are human beings, just like the rest of us and humans are imperfects. You're never going to like something 100%, theres always going to be something you didn't like. In my opinion TOR is a 9.5, where as WOW is a 5.5. Its my opinion and you can agree  or disagree, because that would be your own opinion and everyone is entitled to their own. So lets just move on.

TOR might not kill WOW, but its certainly putting the hurt on it. Although I think the two can conexist in today's market. One is fanatsy and the other is Space Opera. One is old school theme park and the other is cutting edge next-gen story-driven theme park.  Even if TOR does get to 11 million or so subs. It won't matter to the WOW fans cause there Fanatasy fans. Where as TOR fans will celebrate as  Star Wars fans and Sc-Fi Space Opera fans.

But even within just the Fanatsy genre, its all relative. WOW is popular, so what. I personally think LOTRO is a better fantasy game, but thats just because I like the books. I'm a media franchise junkie, that why I like TOR as well. To me a good MMO is something I'm familar with and something I would want to live in.

Never been a Warcraft or Blizzard fan, so when I did try WOW. It didn't appeal to me.I even gave it two trys within two 14 day trials. And for the life of me, I don't see how WOW is as popular as it is and that it has lasted this long. I guess its like movies, for some reason some people like paying for crap. Well I've gotten off-topic, so I'll stop here.

I've never played the game before, but for years now. People have been telling me how great this game is. Never tried it because I was playing Star Wars Galaxies, then Age of Conan, and now DC Universe Online & The Lord of the Rings Online. To me it looks like a cookiee cutter Korean grinder. With all that said, I ask again. What is the appeal of this game? Why would I want to try it? What makes it a must try?

How long do you think it will take Star Wars: The Old Republic? Doesn't look like EA/Bioware and LucasArts are following this trend. Out of the game they will be charging for the game, plus the standard $14.99 a month sub. So it might be some what of a trend, but certainly not a wide spread trend.

My account is reactivated, but you gotta be VIP to play in their current HeadStart and I ain't paying. I'll just wait.

Wait? Isn't Dragon Nest a free to play game? How can it have a retail launch? Are they going to sell a card with premium items on it or something like that?

The title of your article is very misleading. I thought you meant live streaming demo, like cloud gaming. Like the way Onlive and Gaikai work, not just a streaming video. With online streaming gaming/ cloud gaming on thhe rise, you need to start choosing your words better.

I wonder if they'll finally add bridges to the starships. Last time I played it was like playing an RTS game in space. When it came to space battles. Its Star Trek for cryin' out loud. If I'm a Captain, I want to have my character sitting in  the captain's chair giving commands to my crew. Thats how a reall Star Trek game should be played. Of course if you're in a small shuttle you'd only have a cockpit, but in a starship you should have a full size bridge at least. A whole explorable starship would be best, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.  I'd be happy with a bridge though.

That combat is uninspiring. If I want to play a Star Trek game, I want to be inside the bridge of a ship during combat. Not outside like that. I want to have my avatar sitting in the captain's chair and I press different keyboard commands. My avatar should call out commands to the crew of the ship.  This kind of space battle is boring.

This game is just going to be like Super Hero Squad Online, but for teens and adults.  Super Hero Squad Online works the same way. Kids play as there favorite Marvel super heros, but in the artistic style of the Super Hero Squad cartoon.

Does this mean its free right now or are we still waiting on the free to play to be added?

So did you guys find out how close we are to Freedom? Thats the only thing I care about knowing.

Frrom the looks of Optimus Prime and Megatron on the splash page, it looks like it will be based off of the current TV series called Transformers: Prime. Which airs every Saturday on the cable channel, The Hub.

My bad. My browser was blocking the popup. I'm all set for the CBT now.

The Hellgate website isn't ready for the keys yet. Why give them out now?

I just hope with 1.5, they can get rid of the lag and the hackers (Especially the Aimbots.).
