Well, the 50 light side points is going to annoy me. I know I'm only level 6, but went through a lot of stuff. And I love how my character looks.

WEll someone said if you hit the next tier, it deletes it

I have a question. If your say Dark Side, and you accidently do a light side option. Will the say 50 light side points be there forever? And Vice Versa?

I'm creating my new character, and I have no idea what mentor to pick. It says they guide what kind of armor and weapons you can use. I have no idea which to pick! (Then it says Combat is not affected, so wtf?)

I like to go Nature with shapeshifting focus.

I just turned 25 years old, and my hands hurt like hell before I completed the tutorial. It was just too much clicking. (Hand power attacks)

There is 2 "facets". One is called Trammal. No PvP at all. The other is open PvP. Kill a person, and so many you turn Red (I think 5). Once red (murderer status), you can't go into towns and if you die, you lose a % of your skills.

Takes you being online for a long ass time to drop 1 murder count.

Note that the facets are within the same server. You take a portal to switch between the two.

I already have a Turbine Account. I do not want to make another.

My point is, apparently you can only make a NEW account if you want to play for free. Why can't I use my turbine account that I already used for Dungeons and Dragons?

I can say it in one word: confusion. Well, two words. Utter Confusion.

There is a lot of stuff in character creation you don't know what it does and what it means. Nameday, Guardian. Also the different stats and the numbers below that.

Once I got into the game, I'm not sure what to do. I got a quest outside the city, but hell I don't even know how to get there. I have no idea where to even start killing.

I understand why people say a controller is better. It is a bitch to move and look around. You have to use the keyboard to move and use the mouse to look around while you move.

Also, anyone else that wants to keep trying to jump? lol

What does the Guardian and Nameday do?

and there is a file called ffxivconfig.exe 

Run that.

It is your setup file for video, gamepad and sound settings.  In the video tab there is a menu for windowed or full screen mode.

Make changes and then restart game.

Also do you know what the Guardian and Name Daybirth or whatever it is does? I picked the Destroyer and the 1st Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon. Any ideas what that does?
